The Choices hits too hard. My wife's parents didn't show up to our wedding either because they had "better things to do". Then 3 years later they went to her sister's. Never stood up for myself and always did what was asked of me. But I met my now husband. Hes easy going and told me to be confident in myself. Not because of him, but because he saw it in me. Weve been together for 12 years. Sometimes having your opposite is whats nessesary to bring perspective to yourself.

Nicole gave Richard experience in life and Richard taught Nicole to live her life I do wish you noticed that Nicole was pregnant with gumball BEFORE they got married, there are almost no cartoons that show that happening.

I’m not Asian, but I have heard a lot of stories where tiger parents have so many expectation for their kids, that it ends up, causing a strain between them. And that might’ve been what happened with Nicole and her parents right there she left because the argument and fighting with her parents got too far beyond repair.
