In some Asian cultures if you’re close to someone and they’re older you call them brother or sister, sometimes out of respect too. They also call elderly or people much older than them uncle or aunty, or grandpa or grandma. So it can be the culture.
i saw a video a while back about this guy who pretended to want a surgery from the tik tok doctor and it was very scammy like it’s a whole bunch of fake doctors. in asia there’s a thing called ghost doctors where the actually doctor leaves the room and he pays a random person to finish the surgery. and that whole encounter with booking a consultation was giving that vibe. it’s so sad because a lot of comments were from older people saying they want to do it and to look like that.
Girl how about the doctors down in tijuana that have ruined many lives. I knew a lady that got botched in TJ supuestamente removing las bolsas under her eyes. I worked for a world know plastic surgeon when i lived in san diego and OMG i help the surgeon do face lifts and its the most traumatic surgery i have assisted in.
People travel out of the country for plastic surgery not only because of the price but because here in the US a lot of surgeons do the “bare minimum” which in many cases it is safe route but not everyone is ok with that answer so they travel for these risky surgeries. Also alot of other countries out of the US are more advanced when it comes to PS due to the risks they take in most cases practicing on minority groups.

Eyelid and nose jobs are even given as graduation gifts (the asian school system is mega intense) its cheaper than the US bc korea sees plastic surgery, facials and beauty anything as any other personal essential rather than a luxuary like in the west. Theres good and bad surgence everywhere and it depends on how that individuals body takes and heals from it too

Those other surgeons are jealous because they do not know how to perform a procedure that achieves such a significant change in age. Also, it shows pictures of people who are STILL recovering. Give them a year, and they will look much better. If you can see colors, you can notice their yellow and purple because they are still recovering.

My actual opinion at this point Dr. Kim is just making his patience look like actual robots dr. Kim should really be stopped right now this second because this is just a very crazy. But also don’t get me wrong if the people want that but then I respect there choice of course. but Dr. Kim he’s taking this to the whole other level.
