I've never even thought of this! I've been wanting to make a bracelet out of the many stones I have, but it was too hard for me with wire. Thank you so much!
This would be a good project for young people at summer camp to make with a small stone they found there. What a nice keepsake for their time at camp, would appeal to girls and boys of various ages.
God thank you! String sounds so much better to wear and show than some dollar tree wires that ends up wearing down. I bought ten dollar Lake Erie stones but they sadly don’t come with holes. I really like this concept so I’ll be able to wear these beautiful lucky stones with some string! Thanks!
Yes! I just found a load of serpentine that I wanted to polish up, but I had no idea what to do with any of it. I was gonna do a necklaces like this, but I'm so happy I found your video. This is so much cuter!
This was really beautiful - and it seems simple enough to accomplish! Probably finding the right spacing for the knots in the netted area would prove the most difficult part. I appreciated your camera angle, as well as your commentary. All that to say, I agree: I like the white one best! :) Thank you for sharing this with us - I must give it a try! :) Shannon A.
what is the name of type of button you are using? does the type of button you use matter, I'm asking because it seems as if it would be difficult to fit the cord into the two or four hole seen is some buttons online and in store?
I love this bracelet idea but I am confused as to what happened with the long string. you tied the knot for the button and then the long string was added to that knot?
Thank you for this tutorial, can you please make a video with the similar video with the 4 square macrame with a stone. I can't find any video with that type, with a stone.
Love the video..trying to do this but not sure on how to convert meters? is that centimeters, milimeters...could you help me with that?...thanks so much
I think it will turn out a bit softer, so maybe in the part where you have to wrap the thread around, I would make knots around instead so it has more strenght, does that make sense?
Very simple and look nice.Just few qustions. What material of cords you using?its leather or polister? One more question. How its hold on hand?because its not really adjustable and that tumble look little heavy.btw i am too artist making jewelery from macrame and wire so i just wondering.TQ for answer beautiful Curly Made
+Jamie Frazier I'm pretty sure the entirety of Europe uses Meters. Just because all you know is Inches and Centimeters doesn't mean that that's the only way to do it.
@@CurlyMade well I ended up trying with a ribbon slight issue was wrapping slides up and down a and seperated a little but i think if I'd tied (half hitch knot) it off on itself after a couple inches each time it could would and hold a little better. But holding the stones in place was my main issue they slipped out so I may of made the stone holders to large for the stone. In total with the whole effect of using ribbon with your technique looked pretty bad ass I thought, maybe give it a shot of interested. (I am using a velvet ribbon though, it's kinda thin about a pink wide) if you do give a shot hit me up love to hear about it
You can also run individual cords through the holes in that style of button then tie all the cords together underneath the button or you can just tie the cords you've run through the button and dab a bit of jewelry glue around the cords you cut to hold them in place. And yes, jewelry glue is different than Elmer's glue even though it's white. Traditional Elmer's glue is water soluble and could cause your bracelet to fall apart after having gotten wet from hand washing or being exposed on a rainy day, etc. There are different styles of buttons you can use too.
Can anyone tell me the name of the band in this video? The vocalist sounds so much like the original artist, unless it's just a remix with added vocals.
its very pretty, but I just finished making mine and my stone keeps falling out, it only has one knot to it not the extras for a bigger stone (as in the netting part I only did it once), I'm lost as to how they stay 😂
I've never even thought of this! I've been wanting to make a bracelet out of the many stones I have, but it was too hard for me with wire. Thank you so much!
Kayla Gordineer Me too, and the string makes it more causal and easy to wear

Yes, I intended this to be with prettier stones, but ended up using what I had in hand. Your lucky stones will make it beautifull

Curly Made I did a trial bracelet with some rose quartz, and it turned out so pretty :) i.imgur.com/tKsqDq4.jpg
Woow it looks fantastic! I love the pale pink color of Quartz, it's one of my favorite stones
I love all of them, my favorite is the white one.
🫶love love love this design and look!! Thank you for making these tutorials very easy to follow❤️❤️❤️❤️
I saw this on your website and was hoping there was a TH-cam video on it, and I found it! YAY!!!!!
Happy you like it 😊
Can I use only two rows to wrap it? I have a very small stone.
No, you'll need at least 4, since your stone is small, I suggest using the same amount of cords but instead get thinner ones

Thank you so much Shannon ❤️ I'm really glad
You are most welcome! :)
This video is so helpful! i can use it to give it to my friends as a gift!
Happy you like it 😘
what is the name of type of button you are using? does the type of button you use matter, I'm asking because it seems as if it would be difficult to fit the cord into the two or four hole seen is some buttons online and in store?
Pretty much any type of button will do. If it doesn't fit you can break the parts between the holes, that's what I did.
What size mm was the waxed cotton cord? Was it .5mm, 1mm, or 1.5 mm? Thank you!
I'm going to try this, but I'm gonna macrame all the way down and use the netted crystal instead of a button.
+Peachy Keen sounds nice, let me know how it turns out
I'm going to do as a necklace... with spiral cord and couple of beads 😊
😔 como podría saber las medidas por favor?. Gracias.
Precioso proyecto.
I love this bracelet idea but I am confused as to what happened with the long string. you tied the knot for the button and then the long string was added to that knot?
I knotted it together with the rest of the cords for the button loop
Do u think I can do with thread?
yes, check the thickness of the thread you're using and use a stone with a good size to fit it.
@@CurlyMade thank u
You are a good teacher 🙏
& I like your accent
Thankyou

@@CurlyMade your welcome 🙏🏼
really simple and beautiful, can't wait to try this

1 meter = 100 cm Leah Nilssen
Curly Made Thank you!!
This is such a good idea, I cant wait to try this! Can this also be done with crochet yarn?
Hi, can u use anything other than wax thread? Maybe normal embroidery floss?😊
I think it will turn out a bit softer, so maybe in the part where you have to wrap the thread around, I would make knots around instead so it has more strenght, does that make sense?
@@CurlyMade Oh...alright. I see. Thank u sm for ur reply :)
Let me know the result, if you need more help you can send me a picture on instagram
@@CurlyMade I'm sry I don't hv Insta😯 Thank u sm for ur help! I'll let u know the end result!😀
Does this work with flat stones aswell
I think so

The cord is waxed cotton and the bracelet is made to size, closing with a button, it doesn't fall from the wrist
Omg this is sooo cute!!! Totally making one for me, my boyfriend, and my bestie!!! 💛💛💛
Thank you so much, send me a picture on twitter or Instagram once you make them, I really want to see how they came out
You cut each strand 1 meter? Except for the other one you wrap around which is 2 meters?
yes, 2 strands with one meter and 1 strand with two meters that will wrap arount the whole thing
Who measures in meters? Inch or centimetres is normal.
+Jamie Frazier I'm pretty sure the entirety of Europe uses Meters. Just because all you know is Inches and Centimeters doesn't mean that that's the only way to do it.
Hi there :) under what description can I find the cord on ebay please?
Loved the video! I made a nice bracelet on my first try, thanks! 😄
That's great, so glad to have helped you. 😄
Do YOU No How Long THE STRANDS ARE IN Iinches.
I always use google to convert my measurements 1 meter = 39 inches
That's exactly what I was going to say. Google literally has answers to every question. Except for the purpose of life anyway.
Very clear and simple to follow, thank you!
Lacita Fleming thank you for watching 😘
Thanks for sharing this! I am going to use genuine quartz stones.
+Linda that would make it look so nice, let me know how it goes 😊
can we use any other thread?
I did and it turned out pretty good but if the thread is too thin then make sure the rock or some shit isn't that heavy
+Diana rosario thx for the tip
+Diana rosario I don't know why 'the rock or some shit' made me laugh 😂
Can I use a different pattern leading up to the casing?
Haven't tried, but you can probably braid it in sections with two cords each.
Haven't tried, but you can probably braid it in sections with two cords each.
very nice DIY netted stone bracelet. I really like it and would like to try making it. but can i also use nylone thread? instead of a cord? :)
ZiemarG Tansul not really familiar with nylon thread, but it probably works just fine, let me know if you have any difficulties
That's FANTASTIC!! wow I think I can actually do this! Yay!
Let me know the result 😘
Really Beautiful ,want to do this Now
you think this would work on bigger rocks?
Micayla Wise Probably, if you don't feel uncomfortable wearing something that big on your wrist
I love this bracelet. I am going
to be making one soon out of gemstones
let me know how it turns out :D
where dis you get the stones???
I used fishtank stones, I got them in a local house supplies store
I really like ur design
Thank you :D
I thought they were crystals. Nope. Fishtank stones 😂
+Helena Dawsøn You work with what you have 😄
😂 I’m going to use crystals
I'm assuming this technique won't work with ribbon?
I don't think so

How else can we finish the bracelet besides using a button?
Perhaps you can add a magnetic clasp? Search for bracelet macnetic clasp or leather bracelet clasp on ebay or amazon
Jasmine Adrianna' sliding knot .
Such an awesome tutorial!

1 meter
+Curly Made thanks!
Thank you for sharing this!
what if I don't have a waxed cotton cord?
You can try using another one, wich ones do you have?
+Curly Made i do have satin cord right at the moment.. is it ok???
It might work, unless it is too slippery, I guess you will have to give it a try and see.
Yeah... i guess it's too slippery, but it kinda worked!!! thanks so much for the idea!!!
Can you do this with marbles
That would be really cool, thanks for the idea :D
I might do this someday for me and my best friend. These look cool.
Thank you, what colors are you going to use?
Can anyone tell me the name of the band in this video? The vocalist sounds so much like the original artist, unless it's just a remix with added vocals.
Hi the track I used is this one: J-Art & Madan feat. Lyon Hart - The Sound Of Silence goo.gl/yrVUZZ
What brand of waxed cotton cord did you use?
Kaitlyn Lu Don't know, I got in on ebay from China, so I guess it's a chinese one?
What kind of cord are you using?
It's waxed cotton cord
@@CurlyMade thanks

Dinesh Katragadda you're welcome, I also messed up my first try, because the holes between the knots were too big, and the stone was falling trough xD
