I would rather him be the guy and in the draft we could improve our team in other areas like Defense, specifically at CB1 so we can move Bank to CB2 & I would still bring in a vet CB and let them all compete next yr in camp
TD can scramble and find receivers really well. He didn’t have a Malik Nabers to throw to last year, and I’m not saying he’s going to be Baker Mayfield, but he could be a reasonable facsimile of that with the schedule they have coming up.

He may not have a real strong arm yet, but his football IQ may make up for it. His pocket presence looked real good for a rookie too. Before they took him out against the Eagles, he threw a perfect pass to Waller that should have been a TD, but Waller dropped it.

So they're finally admitting they made a mistake by drafting Jones so high, and then benching Eli after only 3 games. Too late now. Unfortunately the Giants aren't a contender anyway. They did their best in 2022, and that wasn’t close to good enough. They have to stop drafting these skill players and get good linemen.
