Fun fact! At 8:25 you can see a segment of Fire Emblem Three Houses’ tea time mechanic, meaning you can date Claude in WarioWare. That makes this game GotY by itself

@@paradoxzee6834 Thought I was the only one that thought that. The Capcom E3 presentation was terrible but she kinda made it worse. She never let go of her smile. It was weirdly scary at times.
Can we get a mode called "Wario 99" where you fight against other Warios to last the longest in an infinite amount of mini games.

I had heard that Tsunku, the lead guy behind the series, had been dealing with cancer. Apparently his treatments recently finished and he's doing well, but still!

I'm pretty happy with the announcement, but a multiplayer battle option like they had on the gamecube would make it perfect for me.

While I was happiest with Metroid Dread during the Direct, I already expected a Metroid announcement beforehand. But this. This I did not expect at all. Biggest surprise of the night for me.

Nintendo if you reading this please start putting some of the Wario Ware characters like Ashley and Mona in the Mario Party and mario sports games. Mario Kart too!

Honestly hoped there would be some motion controls similar to Smooth Moves. Absolutely adored that game and I don't really know what to say yet about this new gameplay style.
But then it wouldn't have been available for Switch Lite. Also, motion Controls would have been cool, but it'd just be another Smooth Moves.
WarioWare is about innovation and creativity, so naturally, they wanted something new.

I love stuff with multiple playable characters, so I might actually grab this one.
It's funny how you have a Wario Ware character as a cursor in some way.
I see it as platforming with microgames since not all characters can fly like wario
I also Noticed how every character have different physics.
I have been waiting many years for this!
I was wondering too how they would adapt Warioware for the Switch, as it uses less motion controls than the Wii, and is less touchscreen friendly than 3DS and WiiU...and the idea of directly controlling the cast of characters is perfect. Especially that the Warioware cast is so distinct, and recognizable. I'm excited for it.
So... Let's not use the features of the switch? The improved gyroscope and motion sensors compared to previous consoles and deliver a simple dpad game?

@@juleeO6183 Ironically, they are using the star feature of the Switch. The Wii's thing was motion controls. The Switch's thing is being able to play it anytime, anywhere and with anyone.
This is actually multiple people at the same time, not taking it in turns.
For me warioware is a must have Nintendo game you need in your library. This game will be perfect for killing time

@@FreakotoYuki I doubt they will. They seem similar in gameplay and during their presentation they noted that Dribble and Spitz were duo characters in that they worked very similarly and were fit for multiplayer. They implied other characters would work like this too, and Kat & Ana definitely fit the bill.
It's so neat we can control our favorite characters here. This game's looking so great already! I just hope there'll be an update for online multiplayer co-op

I love the creativity of this series, although it can be a bit wacky at times. I suppose they could have done more with motion controls, IR camera, rumble, but doing multiplayer and multiple characters is a good call.
WarioWare has always been about the gimmicks, but this one may be more approachable and "party" than the past titles. Excited to play this one.
That's one weird way to say "bland". They have the best Motion controllers on the market and don't use them for a game like this
@@juleeO6183 Fair enough. I think the concern was regarding Lite users and the general consensus that games primarily focused on motion controls (after the Wii era, and excluding VR, of course) don't exactly have mass appeal. Then again, WarioWare was always niche.
But yeah, they could have included a separate mode utilizing the Joy-Cons' capabilities to the fullest. Seems like a missed opportunity.
Kind of glad they didnt go with an IR camera. We all know how Snapped turned out.
