I think YHS comeback was needed. Being honest YG have been declining since 2019 with very few hits on charts excluding BP & Still Life, except Treasure their other artists hiatus are so long and promotions aren´t well done. I think YHS might be what the company needs to improve the musical aspect and bring fresh ideas to the table. And of couse to guide Baby Monster in the legacy of succesful girl groups (Big Mama, 2NE1 and Blackpink)
I had the same feeling, when YG "left" his position.. the direction BP went i didnt like at all.. YG probably never would have permitted certain songs, we all now how picky he is.. Also really happy he is back and guiding Babymonster
The typical YG dim-lit style and the grey scale filter really made us focus on their talent only. No flashy clothes, probably not much make up, no fancy hairstyle or over the top setting, they told us to just sit, listen and watch them. A very great move actually, especially with them doing live performances

How are they gonna highlight each of the girls' talents. - like TREASURE from pre-debut, fans are able to recognize who are the main vocalists, the dancers, the rappers, and those who can do all. Not just from a single video but from several contents. 2. How those talents will be utilized in their music or promotion. - As a teume, I could say that what TREASURE have shown is not yet what their full potential is, from the ygtb days. We have amazing vocalists that needs to be highlighted more, but I mean of course there are many members in the group so its understandable. Same to BM, it would be interesting how will they keep this predebut hype up to their releases. 3. What and how will they create the image of the group. - comparing with T again, they branded the boys as the first dance-based group in YG to differentiate them. They also released MANY contents that've shown their true personalities and made us attached to them not mainly because they are cool and fiery like what YGAs usually are, but because we learnt their story, see how relatable they are, and treat them as our kids to be protected. They are marketed as more "fun and free" group than "cool and swaggy", literally their seniors have this "you cant sit with us" energy... while TREASURE has this bright welcoming aura that invites you to sit with them instead lol. Comparing to BP, eversince debut they have this expensive, luxurious, and premium aura to them. They come back rarely so when they do, it feels like we need to tune in. But the price of that is a fewer content that preserves their image. BP house and BP diaries contents are enough to see their real funny side, but adding more could break their expensive image, strategically. Now with Baemon, I wonder how will they be promoted, is it like T or BP? Coz both promotions have ups and downs. Will they be dance-based as well or more vocal -based? 4. Interactions with YGfam. - we already saw few interaction from the intro video, but Im wondering as to how prevalent is it when they debut. Will we get more BP x BM interaction, like some YG Girls content? Will T and BM have this old 2neBang dynamic/relationship? Will they cover LOTS of YG songs too like T?

And I’ve seen the debuts of yg groups starting from 2ne1, Winner, iKON, Blackpink, Treasure and yep YG knows how to make a brand in their groups. so I’m not really worried with Baemon. YG got expertise in producing girl groups, just look how 2ne1 and Blackpink’s popularity even on their debut days. Yg knows what they’re doing

It’s a good strategy. If they will promote them Pre-Debut throught Mentoring/Training videos and not with the usual YG predebut survival reality show with their boygroups. The predebut mentoring/Training videos will help build a solid fandom where the fans would see them grow from start of their career without creating a divided fandom like how it is in a survival show.
Im so so Happy. They are very Strong Vocally. I mean we all know they are gonna kill it in Rap and Dance so getting many great Vocalists too is a Plus.
