Going to try fishing this river up near templemore area near castleiney. Have any knowledge of people fishing there?
I'm fairly certain there's a club in the Templemore area, enquire locally would be my best advice.

@@springerspanielful I'm starting to use nymphs in the river Fergus in Clare.. and it's explosive...we're open since the 15th of Februaryhad my first nymph session the other day..caught 3 in an hour

Using my Twinwire nymphs,check my channel for more info,I never use indicators,I believe they are counter productive.

Why do you never use a landing net? I'm always terrified of losing a big fish close to me; its happened more than once.
A landing net is a nuisance,gets stuck in everything,always in the way,I'd chance losing fish rather than carry one.
Hi, what weir is this. Have been fishing clonmel area and catching small trout this week using nymphs
It would be difficult to find unless you're familiar with the upper Suir.
@@springerspanielful not familiar with upper just clonmel and carrick on suir. Have found some nice area down here. Few rainbow and brown
