- With the first outdoor race of the 2024 season less than a week away, Haiden Deegan and the boys at Star Racing turned up the heat on the practice track- Even the General managed to squeeze in some seat time! Afterward, we headed back to the compound where Huck, Haiden, and Dax threw down on some pitters to end the day off easy 🤘🏼

Dude that little double into the turn, reminded me of Jermey Martin commentating in 2022 at his family track about Tomac when he was about to pass Sexton. Saying how Eli went into that turn and turned off nothing (coming into the start straight) reminded me of how Haiden executed that section. This kid is gnarly and he has a ton of bike skill. Looks like he’s able to have insane speed without mistakes now. I can’t wait to see what he does at Pala. Haiden, I’m sure you already know this, but you are so fortunate to have a father that is this analytical. Someone that has real insight and is enthusiastic about what you do. Cherish it buddy. i watched those two millville motos with my dad a few days ago and both of our minds were blown at how fast eli was going
i miss that eli, hopefully we will be able to get some of that back this summer but i don’t have high hopes
@@doglover136_I think we will get that Eli back. He’s going to have time to recover. He got a taste of what Jett is like and he knows what it’ll take now. Losing to Jett in SX is one thing, but Tomac is an outdoor beast. If he gets out front or if he can pass Jett, I wouldn’t be surprised whatsoever if he beats him sometimes. Sexton didn’t put a single pass on him the entire outdoor season in 2023. If someone like sexton or Tomac were to pass him, it could ruffle his feathers. But yeah, those motos in particular were the best of Tomac. Same race he scrubbed off the deck going downhill. He was going lights out that day.
@@MrIke303 i have some hope but not a whole lot, i just hope this year is/was a rebuilding year for him and that he comes out swinging with a full prep and bootcamp next year
after me and my dad watched millville, i put on justin cooper’s video of MXON in 2022, the after party was hilarious, i didn’t see that version of those guys until that video came out two years ago and it’s still funny, that video and 2022 millville moto 2 are videos i rewatch often

Getting dominated all year by Tom Vialle, lost a supercross title to a guy that has only rode supercross for a month before the 2023 season when Deegan has rode it his entire life, embarrassing.

Nice speed tricking! Looks to me like Jetson is getting way more powerful drives out of the turns than anyone else does. The stronger he's getting the better for managing the speeds he getting too. One thing I'd have to say I do respect the FMX guys for is that their work schedules isn't so crazy that they still have time to give to the Honeys also. So maybe they're even the most extreme with those blazing FAST girls!!!

You mentioned Jett... and the new level and style... It's that flow like Johnny O. Jett's very efficient on the bike and around the track. His style doesn't beat him up trying to hold on by simply pinnin it wfo. So you'd have to take current training next level like the Goat in his time... to even bulldawg your way around TGO. Haiden kinda did that last Washougal. I think he's smoother this year, a bit bigger, and capable of making every rd like WA. Haiden's style seems perfect for him. His race craft is leveling up for sure. I think with Jett more than his body English and technique, he's exceptional with his line choices and timing of every section in a seamless manner, dropping the most optimal race line once out front... Very similar to road racing supersports... or even the lines Indy racers take on a winding circuit... they keep it flowin... A bmx pump course might be something worth putting a few laps a wk down on... It's no coincidence that King McGrath has a base in bmx... Either way... I'm stoked with Danger's wins in SX mid to late season... and his progression he's earned from this time last year. Still got some heavy hitters. 5 solid guys capable of winning in 250. Pretty sure it's going to be the most fun watching Danger, Hampshire, Chef, Shimoda, McAdoo, Forkner? Vialle maybe 4th/5th in Series... If there's one of the 250 pros that could make 22 moto wins Outdoors, it's Danger. I think he's about that. Good luck preppin this week and stay focused Danger bro. Gotta be in it to win it like your dad Brian said though...
