This is the best comparison video! Thanks you Carol. I have been thinking about this bag for over a year but have been unsure in general and u sure about the size. I like it in the black patent with shiny black hardware as it doesn’t look as ladylike i. That combo and I’m a pretty casual person. I would wear that one tie jeans and a tshirt and it looks great! I love a thicker strap but the lack of adjustment bothers me.

I just got the mini size and absolutely love it! I’m with you on the strap I feel like it doesn’t really go with the bag it’s too elegant for that. I see it as a date night or special occasion bag. It’s beautiful. I got mine in navy lambskin with gold hardware. Enjoy yours!

The strap is the best thing about the small cause the strap is thick and it can go from formal to casual and handbag to crossbody and since I prefer crossbody the strap is a must and you can always buy your own strap like chain strap or something if you don’t like the wide strap but I love the wide strap, more comfortable

Such a helpful video Carol! I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve almost bought a Lady Dior 😂 I almost bought the wicker version most recently. And I bought a red one two or three price increases ago from the online store but it arrived with pen marks on one of the handles 🫠
One day for sure! I think I’m most tempted by the smaller sizes because I want it for more formal events or nicer dinners / lunches.
Yeah their online store is such a hit or miss. I bought a mini one from there two years ago and the thread holding the leather piece to the chain strap was unraveling.

Seems like it. I called customer service to let them know about the issue before returning it because I didn’t want to be blamed for it but I’m pretty sure they just put it back up for sale once I returned the bag.

What type of leather is the small lady dior. I am trying to figure out whether I should go with lambskin or calfskin .
It’s lambskin.
I do notice there has been a price increase for limited editions. And I notice when limited editions come out, it usually comes out in mini and medium [not small)
Really? All the special limited edition ones I’ve kept track of over the past few years have always stayed the same price after a price increase. The most recent example I can think of is the diamond motif ones. The typical mini went from $4900 USD to $5300 while the diamond motif one stayed at $4900.
@@CAROLCHANNELINGCHIC Oh i was referring to limited editions with similar profile (e.g. i compared a medium sized limited edition garden lady dior vs current;s limited editions medium lady diors - they have gone charged more for the same lady diors of the similar profile)
How do you store them?
I stuff them with the tissue paper that comes with the bag along with the strap inside the bag. And the handles I just have them resting against each other so they stay upright.

It’s black.
Would any bag inserts be required to retain the shape of lady dior?
It’s a pretty structured bag so I don’t think it’s necessary if you keep it stuffed when not in use.
