Hi! We're Simon Anthony and Mark Goodliffe, two of the UK's most enthusiastic puzzle solvers. We have both represented the UK at the World Sudoku Championships and the World Puzzle Championships. We're also "cryptic crossword" aficionados. Mark is the twelve-time winner of The Times championship and Simon is the former record holder for most consecutive correct solutions to The Listener crossword. Great to see a cryptic crossword on the channel, especially one that, unlike the Crossword Club monthly puzzles, doesn't use many unusual word and which, therefore, should be accessible to the vast majority of your viewers. Please can we have more like this please.
PS That's not to say you should stop doing the monthly ones!

I got introduced to the channel through sudoku, I stayed for the crosswords. I know these don't get the mega-views but would love more crossword vids :)
Proud to get forty-fives, drive-by, milestone, puzzledom, often and toccata faster than you. But I’m truly in awe of how quickly you get most of these.
Pleased to get the Forty-Fives clue when you first looked at it. Less pleased I didn't get any others! HBTY Times Crossword! And thanks for the live solve.
Funnily enough my collecting records helped me see fortyfives straight away, and linking that to Derby four I instantly saw drive by.
Both more pop culture references, so Mark doesnt see them instantly but can get ones that I don't have a clue on

Thank you for this, I learnt how to solve simple to medium sudoku from you and Simon, now learning these crossword rules :) Hope to see more slower solves so I can continue to learn.
I managed to get a few of the solves in how the clues worked even if I didn't know the abbreviations and such to get the complete answer
I'm always very pleased to see something that Mark missed, but in this case only one clue, which is a shame, because there are so many clues! Obviously no good. But in any case, it was 1D, which is obviously a useful clue.

the ECT in 69 down is Electro convulsion therapy, I believe, but I like electro cardio treatment too
"0 and 9" in 78 would be "even odd" - and wouldn't allude to the 90th birthday!
