I was in Atlanta three weeks ago as a turist from the Czech republic. I lived in Peachtree tower
(300 W Peachtree). There was a concierge in that building. This is something I saw only in US movies :-) We don't have something like this in Eastern Europe. So I was in Downtown Atlanta, but I was surprissed that there are no grocery stores. It was only a one like CVS Pharmacy. So I was not able to buy a normal food as I am used to in the Czech Republic. It seems that Americans eat all food in fastfoods.
What surprised me further was that it was clean everywhere. No litter on the sidewalks, no cigarette residue... But what struck me in all of America (NY, Atlanta, Miami) is that plastics are not sorted at all and electricity is not saved at all.
But this was my dream to see Atlanta, especially CNN Center. I enjoyed also time in Olympic park, Aquarium, CocaCola museum, Civil rights museum and botanical garden and I enjoyed also LottaFrutta :-) I plan to visit Atlanta next year again. I can say that I love this city :-)

Our roads in Georgia are alot more smoother and paved better than texas roads. Georgia has a much lush greener landscape as well, with all 4 seasons. Texas cities are bigger with vast highways and feeder roads off the interstate. I use to live in Texas some years back. But i moved back to Georgia. No place like home 🏡

The further east you are the greener it gets, Georgia touches the Atlantic. Central and west Texas especially is west of the meridian line

I live in metro Dallas, lived in Atlanta for very long a decade. Both cities have some similarities, but they are different, Atlanta is more lush with a more hilly terrain especially on the north side. DFW has better infrastructure. It’s also bigger. Dallas is like Atlanta with Mateo Birmingham right next to it. Last, depending on which way you are going, Dallas is the beginning of the SE or the SW.

It's hard comparing Texas with Atlanta because it's so different in Wichita Falls than in Austin, Texas is just so big.

Speaking of the weather, lightning just struck a tree in my front yard just as this video was being uploaded, I’m in south Atlanta, I really hope that doesn’t ever happen again 😐
