There is a way easier way to get this, on the grass roots side mission for franklin, you simply put a bomb on the truck and pick which unmarked car you want, there is a dark grey and blue one. If you steal one and fail the mission but instead retry the mission, it replaces the blue car with a red car and the dark grey car will be replaced with either a light grey car or a black car. If yours isn’t spawning just keep failing and retrying the mission. Trust me its not worth spending 4 hours in that area looking for a black unmarked car.
@@yobsha how i got mine is doing this in director mode, parking it in my garage (franklins) in Director mode going back to story and it was there, then just save your game and boom you have it trying the same thing with all police/FIB cars now
IMPORTANT!! I have seen when police are chasing a suspect near the bus stop, the unmarked cruiser will come out and follow the regular cop cars. I just saw this happen now. I followed them, and once the situation ended, I stole the car. Got 1, and eventually 2 stars for it. I do not know if anyone knows this, or not. I realize that something like that normally won't happen very often.
Fr, I know this is a recent comment but I was having a director mode shootout and a unmarked cruiser SPAWNED NATURALLY and 4 cops came out of the car and I immediately took Snapmatic photos of it, never forgetting.

this is making me mad...it’s like almost working i pull up to the theater i either get the van or the cop car i don’t look where it spawns i honk the sirens a couple times but no unmarked car even comes out
go into the parking lot of the train station. its a u shape just go around it and when you see two cop cars that arent the one you want go a block away and do it again until you find the one you want. most efficient way of doing it
In order to save the Unmarked Cruisers, you need to save it in your house garage, quit director mode grab your cruiser and then save it in your Personal Garage that you may have like The Grove Street Garage
Fun fact! When talking to Barry he will give you 4 or 3 missions I don’t remember but they are in green circles ! Anyway when going to the one on the right side of the city (close to the highway) where one of his missions are located you will have to get in a truck with some stuff for Barry after getting out of the garage you will be chased by undercover cop cars! You can get out of the truck and steal one of those cop cars and wait for the timer to end to fail the mission then you will still have the cop car you can take it to Los santos customs to change the engine or change the color of the vehicle or more ! Then store it in a garage the best part about this is that you can do it multiple times but you can’t do it when you finish the mission
Just tried this at 1:00 in the morning with Franklin and there was a police car in the parking spot where he parked in the video. I parked inn front of it and hit the lights, and waited. I got a couple of regular police cars, a police van and finally the car. Each time it did not work I simply circled the block , parked and tried again hitting the lights for a little then waiting. When the car came, it was full code with lights and sirens and hauled ass. I chased him across the city until the two cops jumped out on a car and got into a gunfight. The driver died and I shot the second cop in the back and took the car. Had a hard tile shaking the cops. Usuwally I never do but I had a chopper on me as well. Said he’ll with it and went straight to franklins garage with them on me and it still let me take it inside ! I got it ! May try for another !
To help you out. If your having trouble getting it move to directors mode and do the method he showed. Once you have the car drive to any of the characters home garages. Once its inside switch to that character and it will be there
If you have the black unmarked police car in your garage, and you are driving one to the loop thing, it can spawn a silver one. I am on Xbox 360 and it's doing that for me. Hopefully you see this and make a vid of it if you haven't already.
On PC special police vehicles appear to spawn at 0:00 and 05:00 at night. I used director mode, time of day at midnight or pre dawn with strip club at starting point. Walking to that place and sometimes one of several police vehicles will appear (regular police car, van, motorcycle and unmarked cruiser). You don't have to shoot the cops but can just enter the vehicle and they will just exit. You can just ignore them since you are invulnerable anyway.

You really don't have to do all that crazy stuff, or be Franklin. Just park in that area around 22:00 as any character, make a save and WAIT. It'll pop up. If it doesn't, reload the save and try again
This works for me. Instead of me waiting for it to come out I found that going and looking for it in the U-Shape road under the bridge just before 12:00 it would be there.
I’ve been sitting here in story mode for 4 in game nights and the only thing that spawns is regular civilian cars and sometimes rarely a regular police cruiser

Guys I think they spawn randomly like at 1st there was nothing then the 2nd it was it then the 3rd the police van and the 4th the Buffalo police car but this helped me a lot thank you.

I was selling my pablo escobar product and this exact police car was chasing me. I didnt do anything to him and went to the lockup to get one of the other delivery vehicles. And little did i know he teleported to sandy shores. It didnt appear as a red dot on the map but he kept shooting me. And when i shot 2 of the officers i got a 3 STAR wanted level

I’ve got gray unmarked cruiser from one of the Barry’s mission When you getting van with weed, gray cruisers will follow you and in order to complete the mission you need to lose them But if you get in the cruiser then put it in one of the Franklin’s garage (in the house near groove street/or in house in vinewood hills, it doesn’t really matter) and then wait till the mission get failed, it will probably gonna save in the garage even if you abandon the mission Sorry, I don’t remember the name of the mission and don’t know if it is been patched already, but I hope it still works and it helps someone to find this rare car Good luck!

So I tried it and it spawned after Mabye ten minutes, I died trying to fight them for the car. Then I tried it again and got it first try, he says you have to do it at 12 am untill 3 but it’s possible before and after but what he meant was it’s more common in those times. Thanks for the car man
