@Eric Deniora It means the studio production is well done. The EP's sound and mix is good. The instruments and vocals can all be heard in a good way and the result is a pleasant soundworld. The person who drives the studio production is called producer.

This is one of the best new heavy metal releases of the past decade.
It feels old school, but manages to avoid being cheesy.
