@@jblaze1336 chill, nobody said Haney like Floyd. We have our doubts about Ryan. The doubts are justified because of Ryans erratic and past behavior. I think Ryan has not evolved into a more versatile and complete fighter. He has poor training habits that have been witnessed and spoken upon by his past trainers. He has shown to be undisciplined during training and more focused on his social media following. That has nothing to do with Haney. It wouldn't matter if he was going to fight Pitbull, Matias or teo. So you stop with your fanboying nonsense. Ryan does have a chance. He has the attributes to win but lacks the skill and intelligence to maximize his attributes. It comes down to this, is it possible for Ryan to win? Yes. Is it PROBABLE Ryan wins. No. Now go back to looking at Ryan's poster above your bed. ✌️
Ryan has already win the mental game, not just Devin but also a few of you here as well. Ryan is in his prime, as tall, stronger, faster, more power, and more aggression; those represent first time challenges for Devin.
1- Ryan has to fight using effective aggression, making Devin fight on back legs. Fight in a simular style he did against Fortuna.
2- Double jabs are the key because this will cause Devin to bend to his right below the waist. This must be done when Devin is near the rope because after the bending (below the waist is illegal move), Devin will not be able to take another step backward (his defend pattern) and ended up at the rope. Ryan should T off at that point. Devin alternative move is to jump forward and hug the waist (his defend pattern as well). Ryan should take a step backward and let go the right hand upper cut.
Note: 3, 4, and 5 can be done because Devin usually do a stepping jab. Ryan needs to learn how to read this move.
3-When Devin throw a jab, he usually follow with the right to the head. Ryan should use the Fonseca move for this.
4-When Devin throw a jab, he usually step to his left if he is not going to throw the right. Ryan should anticipate that move and ready to counter.
5-Take away Devin's jabs. Counter with the right hand . Jab with the jab, since he has faster hand. Pair the jab.
6-Ryan over hand right is one of the key, since Devin philly style with the left hand down is there all the time. All Ryan has to do is trigger Devin to go to the defensive mode, and voila.

(Although Devin is Good) He lost to Lomachenko (That fight was stolen from Loma), and Linares almost KO Devin when he hit him towards the End of that Round, (Although Devin was Winning all the Rounds) Had Linares hit Devin earlier that Round he would had KO'd Haney, He Rocked Him (The Bell Saved Him). Ryan would had Ko'd Linares and Kambosos, Which was the reason they didn't want to fight Ryan. People are giving Devin Too Much Credit, He out boxed Regis but Regis is not at Ryan's level (Not even Close), Devin should had KO'd Regis (Ryan Garcia would had KO'd Regis). The most impressive fight Regis Prograis had was with Washed Up Jose Zepeda, Zepeda was Great but he's Old in the game and had Too Many Battles...
The only way Devin Haney will Win is if it goes to the Score Cards (But I don't see that happening), Devin can't take a Punch, People say he's Methodical in the Ring (and he is) but I see Fear in his eyes...

I can see Haney feinting Ryan out of position and going to the body. Even though Loma is a southpaw and a very different fighter than Ryan, if I’m Ryan’s team, I would take a good look at that fight to see how Haney responds to intelligent pressure. Loma landed more on Haney than any other opponent.
Nice assessment. Thats exactly how I see Haney fighting Ryan...feinting and taking Ryan off his rhythm which I believe he can do. I thought Loma edged that fight but it surely was a close one.
@@jab-jab-talk - I thought so too but it was a close fight and could also see Haney getting the win from all the body work. With Haney vs. Garcia, I also expect Haney to hold when they get in close. Spence is really good with combining wrestling and pins in close quarter fighting. If James taught Ryan some of Spence's tricks (and Ryan listented) it could be interesting.

In my opinion ( which I am probably wrong) I think Ryan needs to start off from the outside. Use his reach and speed. He should be on his toes with a rhythm, oscarish like. Feint hopping in and out while double and triple jabbing, mixing in rights and hooks ONLY if he is angling off. Don't get to close because Devin will just hold him excessively. Ryan does not need to throw every shot hard. Just touch Devin with pop shots. I think Ryan is faster . Devin will be looking to counter Ryans left hook and jab with counter hard rights. Ryan needs to take that away by rhythm movement and feints. If Haney is able to consistently hit Ryan with his jab, I think Ryan with lose his composure, get too aggressive and walk into a right hand.ryan keeps his hands too low when combination punching while his chin is exposed up in the air. If Ryan can be successful at that, he should also hit Devin to the chest with the jab. Keep Devin at the end of his punches. After round 6 put more pressure on Devin fient lead rights and popping the jab to the body, mixing in hooks to the body and rights up stairs.ryan has the power to get Devin out of there, not sure if he has the composure and i.q. to do so. With that said I think Devin will out box Ryan to a split decision. Ryans popularity with the casuals and the money they bring will make it unjustly close on the score cards. Just my opinion. ✌️

The first time I ever seen him move side to side was one of his last fights. I can’t remember which one it was. That’s the first time in ALL! his fights. He just relies on his power which he has, I’ll give him that much, to get him out of the S. Haney and his dad have said Garcia can punch so they know he can’t get caught, so they are 100% ready for how to avoid that happening.
