@condorhero yes you need all sensor or it will not function properly but incase you might not have the oem sensor you can get it from other nissans check the links in the description to see a list of diferent nissan cars that you can get it from. But incase you have the oem one you will need to extended to the front of the car and it will fit perfectly in the little square opening above the hood levar lock to avoid damge to it I just put it throught the bottom so the push plastic arrow faces out
Nice job, I have an original s13 jdm Silvia and I am having some problems with my PBR according to the self diagnostic test I ran on my DCC. The only issue come up pbr. I understand that this is the air mix door. The nissan shop told me that it is not working correctly and that tech said he pushed the rod so that the door would block the heater, that gave me cold air. I was wondering if you knew the part number for that PBR sensor or know of any fixes/replacements I can use. Everything else on the DCC seems to work fine. and as far as I know this came stock on this car (which is a Ks model 1989 with the CA18DET), but when I was researching it is looking like they didn't come out till 1992? any info would be greatly appreciated.
sorry for late reply been searching for an answer. So far ive read that we can use the nissan maxima door blend actuator from a 1990 but even then im having trouble finding them for sale. Since you have an original Silvia i would assume your best bet would be to go to the dealer ship and see if they can still get you one. Im in california and apparently im screwed if mine gos out XD. last option would be to rig the non dcc actuator to work with the dcc one. sorry if i wasnt able to provide any help :/ if you happen to find anyone one or any place we can get new ones or used working ones please hit me up would like to have one or two for reserve incase mine gos bad thanks :)
Hi thanks for the response. I have just found out that the s13 part numbers are 27742-86E00 (air mix), 27730-55S60 (air intake) and 27731-40F00 (air mode) all are not available except the air mode actuator, and I am not sure if I need that one. My system seems to work except that it doesn't change from top defroster vents to any other vents. I've checked all fuses and the wiring looks good to me. when I flushed my system and recharged I got cold air but only coming out the top vents. Now I'm only getting warm air out the top vents. I did see the air mix motor move once but it wont move again so far. I've thought about getting another DCC with everything but I haven't seen one with the other motors except the air mix and I don't know if that is enough. I just want to replace everything cause my car runs real good and mostly everything works, i'd love to get the AC squared away. ANYBODY out there with these parts to sell let me know.
The unit will turn on but the auto function for the auto temp wont work. I have not tried it my self but I would assume everything else should work except the auto function
hey I sent you an email but incase anyone is having the same trouble make sure to check you have good grounds or else it will be stuck on one blower speed. Any more questions feel free to ask and ill answer as best as I can thanks.
hey, bro did you change the manual to digital or you just fix it, or replace it? caz im try to change the manual to digital, any suggestion for my project?
I swapped it from analog to digital. and yeah a lot of people who have personal messaged me have had the same problem make sure you have good connections when splicing. you will need all sensors for it to work properly and if theres any other question you run into feel free to contact me and ill help you in anyway possible :) its a fairly simple straight forward swap just takes time and patients to avoid problems
yeah its, i pended all day try to fig out how to connected the digital caz the other one have to many cables and the digital only like eight, right now just the light is working the rest is dead, so can you help me to connect the rest of the cables if you can, thanks
@@EternalTrendsNeverEnd Basically a full write up with pin outs, I have a 96 180sx (s13 hatch) with no sub harness for analog climate control its all Teed into main body loom, and im using Nissan Maxima plugs for my Digital Climate control as it came with none. So I need pin outs for my factory plugs and digital plugs
@@Jimidybillybob with a quick look on Google you can use this site to download 180sx dcc fsm, and the correct fsm by year for your vehicle. Then look under the HA section which should be the hvac section and it will show the location of all components and wiring schematics since what I understand is you will be creating your own ac harness to get all of this to work.
@@EternalTrendsNeverEnd Thanks man, found a wiring diagram for my body and my analog heater with matching colour codes BUT I cant find for the life of me a wiring diagram amongst all of those Manuals for digital climate control 😭 I need a pin out :(
