As of June 2023 planning station has now been changed to silent station and candidates are given 14min,nothing about the video changes but the only changes is that your paperwork is now marked and therefore candidates needs to prevent the use of abbreviations and acronyms and writing your name, date and signing to pass your station❤❤❤
The planning station is now a verbal handover, you are given time to write and time to verbalise all written to the examiner, they do not mark the written work and you are marked based on what the candidate says
Hello thank you for the support, watching your videos on planning station, you mentioned it is silence station where a chair and table is offer/then new sheet, according to what you mentioned here, you stated planning station is a verbal hand over.
Yes,it was a mistake,it’s a verbal handover you are given a table and a chair to write down your point for 10min which will not be marked ,but u are also given 6min to handover all your points you have written down and what u will say is what is being marked❤
Thank you for the timely review, however, now is a silent station, is there any way you can assist some of us. Just how to go about it will be very helpful
@@haganmargan300 hi,nothing changes, the only difference is that your paperwork is now marked and you still use the SBAR format just like how I have showed in the video and the time is now reduced to 14min
Hi Anita, thanks for the video. I was going through the NMC website and I learnt there is going to be some changes starting January this year. Eg: a reduction in the time allocated for the stations and others. Can you please talk about the new changes and any advice on how to beat time?
Always repeat you differential diagnosis in the handover speech to the examiner in the assessment station and repeat under the assessment of your SBAR in planning station
Hello Dank, how can I reach you. My name is Amarachi and I want to go through the self sponsor route to do my osce as an adult nurse. I’m Looking at April 2024. I would want to be tutored by you what are your charges, your location and how does your training go?
DURING DOCUMENTATION OF OBSERVATIONS DONE DURING LABOUR AND YOU HAVE 2 SETS OF OBSERVATIONS BASED ON THE PROTOCOL FOR vaginal examination during Labour so which ones are you going to document at the ASSEMMENT in ISBAR because they're much .
Under assessments,u document all you did in your assessment station,if u did a partograph, talk about the findings of the partograph, but still write about the VE you did since the partograph doesn’t give u the opportunity to document all u did during VE,just like MEOWS chart, you still write more than what u filled in the chart but again I talk about ur score of meows
Even though, the written part of the planning is not going to be marked, is it okay to write them in bullet especially the background G3P2 38 weeks pregnant No medical history Lives with partner
One trick to help you catch up with time is always write your recommendations first because those are the information which come from memory and it’s easy to forget ur points when u r under pressure, also write ur situation second as the situation need to flow, thirdly write ur assessment as they include all the details from ur assessment station,u can decide not to write your background and simply read as it’s already typed in the assessment station scenario

Is it okay to write the pain score in your situation eg who presented with abdominal pain since 8am with a pain score of 1
No please, keep it as simple as possible,ur pain score is a form of assessment and must always under assessment
Even though, the written part of the planning is not going to be marked, is it okay to write them in bullet especially the background
