Man people dont understand that Farming simulator is about doing the same thing over and over until you have a lot of money but the best part of it is working your way up, if from day 1 you add 100mill to the farm and just buy everything all at once the game becomes boring immediately because it stop making sense. Sir, Riverbend DOT/DMV here. We have noticed that a lot of your Riverbend episodes have been shortened. Cletus is convinced that it's a conspiracy - you've stopped recording all of the stop signs you demolish, and as a result, we're now running a budget shortfall since we can't fine you without that evidence. He's worried we're going to let him go and stick a scarecrow in his chair to replace him. He did note in your video today that you seemed to have a hard time driving on the road and suggested you place stop signs in the middle of the road to guide yourself. Edit: Cletus also couldn't help but guffaw as he wheezed out "What kind of farmer doesn't plant crops??" 🤣🤣🤣
i have been told that instead of paying for fertilizer for grass, that using a grass roller adds the fertilized state to the grass after is has been cut. I was planning on testing it but figured i would mention it to you as maybe on a challenge like this, it might save money
In some Brazilian farms we plant in way steeper hills. In Paraná state, if a tractor can get there, they plant soybeans. So it is realistic to plant in this hill

New Farmer on New Frontier (69 farmlands). $100k starting money, 1 day per month, no workers before 10am or after 5pm (10:01am-4:59pm ok to have max of 1 worker at any given moment) no loans, only 1 lease active at a time, hard economy, periodic plowing, crop destruction, lime, stone, weeds, environmental damage visual only, first person view ONLY (unless on fieldwork), seasonal planting off, no speeding up time- not even a single minute! No teleporting! No super strength! No direct selling or distribution of pallets inside productions/greenhouses, must set all pallets to storing, you must distribute and/or sell. Anything over 200kg must be lifted using equipment. YOUR GOAL: have $1,000,000 in the account, no debt, have a total of 300 cows, 500 sheep, 2500 chickens, 500,000 liters of any (5) grains your choice (500,000 liters for each), and you have 5 years to do it!
@ I hope you give it a shot! Im in the middle of a play through using this rule set and so far, it’s so much fun! Really makes you think about EVERY move you do and puts meaning behind everything. My current strategy is 50/50. So 50% of the field is saved for the 500,000 liter requirement and the other 50% is sold/made into productions. PS: Anything not specifically listed in the rule set, use your best judgment! You CAN use any mods that don’t conflict with the rules! I will donate $50 (that’s my military promise!) if you can successfully complete this challenge and appears to be legit!
The hill is pretty steep but I think it wouldn't be impossible in real life. there is some pretty steep no-terraced farms that my grandpa had and the issue wasn't crops not getting water but that the rain would cause really bad washout. I still remember as a kid helping my dad and uncles fill them in and then turn the worst ones into grassy drainage routes so the rest of the field wouldn't be washed out and it wouldn't need to be filled in every year.
It's going to be short ups and downs, but farmers typically for across the hill side instead of up and down them. It's easier on the equipment and helps reduce erosion.
Trimming and chopping trees before putting them in a sawmill or selling them makes night and day difference in the amount of liters of wood it registers.tested and proven.
For realism with the angle of slope on the field a farmer would probably put n drainage pipes n the ground ....the Millenial Farmer Zack Johnson had Randy the master pipe layer do it n some of his fields
