Yeah , on the pod cast last night we agreed that basically the whole west needs to harden the F up ! Peace time is just about up , that’s how it feels to me mate . 3/4 of the population is obese & has probably never ran more then a 1/4 mile in their lives.
While at dinner, i was eavesdropping on a table of older gentlemen. They were having their yearly national service reunion. They were air force back in the 1950's . They absolutely loved it. They were from every corner of Australia. I was jealous.

I agree with you mate. There's a push & petition put before parliament in my state to get castle law reintroduced. It's absolutely embarrassing that in 2024 we still don't have the basic rights of self defense in our own homes .
Statistics show that after national service was removed youth crime went up 80% in a 12 month period, I think it's a great idea as a former serviceman it would be great for youth discipline and actually making something of themselves
I wholeheartedly agree. What's your thoughts on a volunteer service open to anyone else ??? Totally open ended on what that could look like at this time. I'm thinking cost effective low tech general skills based ses / rural fire / basic home guard type stuff. Keep the lights on , water flowing stuff. ?????? Something i can do 😉😁
@@concernedaussie1330 a volunteer system should definitely be in place, it's all life skills that youth now days lack and have no interest in learning because parents have to do everything for their kids now due to the government interfering and they are all pansies who throw tantrums and claim they are hard done by, they wouldn't know a hard day's work if it bit them in the butt. Getting a trade in the defence force would benefit them and everyone else in the long run
