I think the rules state that they must be within a height range to use them, making them only an option for athletes who's feet wouldn't touch the ground or barely touch the ground otherwise.

Why was the third bench no lift??
I am not sure why. I think the referee said it was because of the rack command 😕
I didn't look like he jumped the rack command, unless the audio is desynced there, and only there, which i doubt.

a very strong athlete, but two platforms on the bench press is too much
Ikr surely he’d get better leg drive from just one
he did use one at the last attempt + he's short he has to use them
@@marokha907 I know that they can use platforms but in my opinion, two platforms already give an advantage rather than equalize
