  • A piece of cinema history located in North San Diego County will soon have a new home. The historic Graves House featured in the 1986 action flick "Top Gun" is being relocated and restored to make room for the Oceanside Beach Resort coming to the property.

I work downtown Oceanside and I had a customer come in today asking if they moved it so I’m like Woah. I didn’t know it’s being restored. Rock on.

It may not be moved back in its exact original spot but thank God they saved it and is being restored. That scene when Maverick pulls up to the house at sunset with the palm trees and the beach is my favorite. Would love to have a picture of that. So beautiful!

Glad it is being restored. And moved by the pier.

When they say same lot does that mean same spot?
