There have been a lot of youtube tests of anti-rust gun lubes -- vs experimental tests on metal plates, and corrosion over weeks and months when subjected to water or saltwater. By far, Corrosion X has done best on these tests. Corrosion X also makes a "marine" version that's very sticky -- as their ultimate protectant. I use it on all my guns and knives to protect against rust (for actual lubrication, I use Slip 2000 -- the slipperiest stuff you'll ever see!).
Another useful video! Basic maintenance is often overlooked. It seems the majority of youtube survivors advocate for either A: Beat the shit out of your knife and put it away filthy to prove you are a user or B: just don't use your knife. By the way that is a gorgeous puukko. Is that a rhomboid blade?
Say Heah Sean, Kewl Beanz, I keep my Cold Steel SISU nice and shiny and I think it's a little easier than brass, My SISU is Stainless and the blade is in the San Mai 3, But it's similar to your blade shape. Actually the closest Puukku is the Tapio Work Kala Puukku, almost the same handle except my SISU has stainless bolster and pommel and the handle is Linen Micarta, It too is a beauty. I also keep it laser sharp.

Hey Big Brown Bear, could you show us how you sharpen this beautiful knife the right way? Greetings from germany!! :)
Okay just found something in your playlist
hey Sean, what do you think, is a birch handle suitable for fishing? i mean its wet most of the time, and the fish smell is a concern too.
thanks
perhaps G10 is better for that?

+no name indeed. Rhomboid geometry
I highly recommend Malanika
Check 'em out
can be explained the specifications of the dimensions of the blade ??
Does the handle darken over time when using is? :)
Does Obenaus work for any wood handles and any bone handles? Trying to see if I should go with that or mineral oil
Yes. It’s great for wood or bone. The oil works better in that application though.

Why wouldn’t you advertise the blue lube lol
Lol. Obenaufs has no fats or salts. It’s beeswax and a little oil.
