Breach was a great band. TT is tremendous. This album is so great, dark, amazing, mesmerizing & addictive. The purging also is really good! Terra Tenebrosa is a huge surprise for me. How not to be bitten by such a freak. Congratulations to this band & the way they compose and work. 666/10.
AnarchistMetalhead It's a tough listen for most people ..even so called Metal Heads...I've had this Convulsing..Rakzu..And the new Asphyx...on constant replay..my coworker's love it..
The last one was definitely more drawn out and ambient in its pacing where this album feels like it's comprised of individual tracks instead of longer chunks.
Fell in love for this band since the day my swedish friend who`s friend with the label`s owner who released previous records...sent me the purging test press vinyl....fucking great band...obscure as fuck
I kind of wish I had discovered these guys first instead of Oranssi Pazuzu. Their music would have had a much more unsettling effect on me. After listening and conditioning myself to Pazuzu, these doesn't seem as shocking as it should have been! I prefer the music of these guys to OP though.
Sanity is totally overrated and unnecessary to be a goal I have early stages of alcahol dementia and psychosis and I'm a bit skitzoid mixed with meth addiction and booze I find that to be sane would hold me back from enjoying all those traits/talents lol hail satan
There's some insanity in them that reminds me somewhat in a much inferior way what Slipknot tried to do with screams and general demented vile sound. Not that I still like Slipknot, but if you have like I did you will get what I tried to say ...
Slipknot and Iowa were actually not dreadful at the sound you describe. But afterwards, they got that generic American metal sound like lots of other interesting bands of the time did (Mudvayne - LD50, is there another album like it?) and became really boring. Of course, none of them ever touched on what Terra Tenebrosa has made now.
this is listenable, but the reality of people making metal is often that the musicians are great at creating beautiful dark sounds (sound engineering/soundsmithing) but not great in producing enjoyable and original overall compositions/songs/tracks. Voice acting and sound effects/soundtrack production might be better for some metal ppl. Say what you will about this music, but the reality is the rhythms are quite boring. Without memorable rhythm and vocals, music often fails.
Metal is rife with rhythmic explorations. Second only to jazz like most music. According to some the rhythms are more complicated in metal than anywhere else. Unfortunately the biggest problem in metal is that it's very hard to bring in all elements at a consistent balance.
@@dogmaha still no reason to listen to this. I've been listening to Oath Bound by Summoning as I missed that album or ignored it years ago. Whatever Terra Tenebrosa seems to be doing here would probably be better served with electronic percussion and better use of electric guitar. None of the "proggy" dark metal from France or elsewhere has any appeal to me. Too many notes on the drums, tempos too high, and overuse of alternate tuning on guitars just for the sake of unusual dissonance. formula that didn't work from the beginning of the movement. same problem with brutal death metal from 1998 forward and whatever constitutes the Behemoth-style blackened death. All boring.

This should be a genre called Unsettling Metal
Bethlehem are great as well.
last Leviathan was another one.
The most sensible suggestion of a label for the intense and unconventional sounding bands between black and death metal i heard is Plague Metal

James the mastering of this album is terrible.
One of the best bands that I discovered these last years. Really dark, twisted and with this amazing unique sound.
Such a masterpiece of an album by an incredible band. I absolutely love the course they've taken over their career.
Something about these guys music is very addictive. I loved their last album but this one sounds even better IMO. Highly recommended
The last one was definitely more drawn out and ambient in its pacing where this album feels like it's comprised of individual tracks instead of longer chunks.
heard half of it and was sold. instant buy. this is beautiful
The best band in sludgy post-black.
There needs to be more of this in the world.
the cover art is beautiful
Need more Black Metal like this in my life...
just got it,heard it,liked it,dosnt seem 42 mins, seems to go faster in time, hope more to come in future from them
This thing blew my humanity out of my head and splattered it on the wonderful canvas of madness and evil
Great album!
Could never quite get into their previous albums, but this one is amazing! Wonderfully demented.
Ça sonne chaotique style Dødheimsgard. Ça sonne mécanique et frette. Très bon! There is something cold and mechanical on this record. Great stuff!
Fell in love for this band since the day my swedish friend who`s friend with the label`s owner who released previous records...sent me the purging test press vinyl....fucking great band...obscure as fuck
Fala, Arthur! Beleza?
Fala man ! blz ! eai
I love obscure black metal , its not like the norm.
Extremely strange, but interesting too
Horror Metal is still alive!
Hammer Band ,,Danke Parabelritter .
Beautiful record
I can't explain why...but I fucking love this. It's demented in all the best ways.
Sometimes demented can be very nice.
Angelo Nicci and this is a prime example of that in effect.
So strange... but I can't stop listening, like.. hipnotizing
Dude these guys are fucking badass

Segundo y último tema ...los que más me gustaron
If you came across the guy in the cover, would you run?
Run to him and kneel before him most likely.
I would ask myself:" What is Chat Krueger doing here?"
I wouldn't run from a Khajit and I'd probly ask for skooma.
I would have some questions about the underworld and possible existence after death
I'd ask him for a light
fuck yes
Not bad album.
VERY STRONG SAUCE ! "TOBASCO"! I LIKE !
Glad you like it.
bandas similares q recomienden?
The Beatles, sick drone avantgarde stuff
Arabrot, possibly. A different sound but a slightly similar feel.

Marzę o domku z drewna i mansardzie ze studiem muzycznym .

mapinguarimonster I wish king 810 would hear TT so they could (maybe but unlikely) realise how you really create dark music.
Slipknot and Iowa were actually not dreadful at the sound you describe. But afterwards, they got that generic American metal sound like lots of other interesting bands of the time did (Mudvayne - LD50, is there another album like it?) and became really boring.

Industrial/black/death metal 666
This is probably not a healthy album for me to be listening to...

Then listen to "Fire Dances".

What's your opinion now Choon?
