Thanks, Lubna. I think you would get a lot out of the book Alcoholics Anonymous. It is dedicated to the idea of accepting reality as we find it and then fitting ourselves to be useful to ourselves and others by striving to accept everything, even the past as God's will. Page after page is devoted to the idea of no longer trying to force other people to follow our script.
Yes, I would like to read Alcoholics Anonymous. The Serenity Prayer is mentioned in relation to 12-step groups like AA in Letting Go as well as in another book I read by David Hawkins (Power vs. Force). I will try to obtain a hard copy of Alcoholics Anonymous soon. Thank you for making this suggestion. 🦋🌷
There's much i need to change that i have been just accepting that it is the way i am. Its hard enough to grow and change myself. I truly have no time to change anyone else "I can try to understand them". Plus trying to change anyone else is to pass judgement on another being and thats between them and the almighty!! I can only share my perspectives on the things that I struggle with. I cant speak from anyones point of view but my own. Love everyone but focus on becoming me. I am really trying!!! Anyway Wishing you a Most Wonderful Weekend! As always keep going WE GOT THIS!!!
