Two years in the title is possibly referring to how long it feels you’ve been in this trance of not being able to get out of the trance. This could be a tribute to how depression can feel for some reason. “And I’ve written things down” reffering to the classic post-it’s. “Gonna be a better human if I can” this one hit hard. Saying that they’re trying to be a better person, more productive, but physically can’t. Their brain is blocking it out with thoughts like “what’s the point” “Your bathrooms got mold” because sometimes depression can get to the point of not cleaning, taking care of yourself etc. There are so many other sad things in this beautiful song I don’t have the time to write down but if you listen closely enough you really get the message! Also this is a 2 year old vid but whatever still a good song
