(I am always both amazed and disgusted by what I see coming out of the drains in some places, lol.)
but dont understand why there so many blockages in England, i stayed in South Africa and had 3 of my own homes, for around 35 years,only once i needed a plumber to clean out drain due to rots, my father has his house from 1982 until 211 and neve once needed a plumber,
I think a lot of it is down to low flush water saving toilets ,
on sewers that were made for a 9 litre flush. Theres enough water to get the "stuff" into the pipes but not enough to get it right out into the main larger drains in the street. .
@@Mitch-Hendren you're right, i grew up in South Africa and before 1994 that black people took over the country one,it was not allowed to use bath or basin water to irrigate one's lawn or use it as grey water --but the main reason was as far as i can remember it was because the pipes were all clay pipes and it was needed to prevent pipes drying out ???????? ,but the way you explain it, it is more of a reason as some gradients on the pipes is too flat, i have heard in many of these videos that the plumber saying the gradient is too flat so it prevents the water flowing fast enough,

Not enough energy to shift a blockage. The mass of a bucket of water has better clearing potential.

THESE TOILETS doint use enough water to flush everything down, water savers they call them. the sewage is peeing out and not flowing , then it bunches up and jams the pips. hahaha
