    Is that the 800 dollar sea doo cooler with the rod holders? If so, are the rod holders that are on the cooler strong enough for trolling?

    Epic, I went out on a fish pro in Rosario Baja pounding beach break , it was the first time so I thought the dudes from the dealer ship strapped everything the correct way…. Not, when I was near the pier rock I was gonna fish I realized that the cooler with rod holders and rods was gone!!!!! Tham thing got blasted off by a wave on the way out , went back and recovered the cooler minus 2 rods and reels, ouch. Gota get back to it, there are huge schools of 100-200 lbs bluefin pretty close to shore, that would make a killer expedition and video. Best regards.

      dang thats a bummer, but hopefully you recovered most of your gear. ya, I always double and triple check everything is latched down right before I launch. never hurts to be extra sure. a Bluefin tuna from the sea-doo is on my bucket list no doubt! maybe some day. that's epic you got on em!

    Loved the videos! How’d you set your 360 camera up for that angle? I tried putting it in the rod hold but it was very sketchy lol

    • @brettbarley
      @brettbarley  ปีที่แล้ว

      So I have it on a PVC pole that’s shoved in rod holder with a rag around it to hold it in. But first go round 2yrs ago, I lost a camera in a 15mile run in choppy water. So then I made another pole that has a bolt through it at the bottom, I insert the bolt after putting the pole in the rod holder, so it can’t come out now.
      As added security I tie it off to the cooler as well… but I’ve never had a rod holder unhook.

    Brett, I've got your next cause. I knew you needed something useful to do.
    Well, without further ado:
    No Chum !
    That's right, no chum it is. Piers/jetties, shoreline, boats near reef breaks.
    that's what gets the sharks all riled up.

    • @brettbarley
      @brettbarley  ปีที่แล้ว

      No you’re not too heavy… it’s just more comfortable to have 1 leg on each side due to the width of the foot wells. Standing on one side requires your feet both pointed towards bow or stern which isn’t great. You can walk all around it with zero worries of it flipping.
