@@rcc8347 the fighters will do what best fits the rules...if the rules favour "lazy" fighters who throw sloppy kicks then that will be the norm. it's the the sport that must encourage strong kicks...thai fighters throw powerful kicks because in their sport powerful kicks are rewarded with points when they land; if the rules of muay thai were like modern tkd you would see a lot of lousy kicks in there as well

I've studied Taekwondo for decades and the reason why a lot of the kicks get through is because most of these Taekwondo Fighters don't know how to use their hands in Taekwondo tournaments it is not allowed to hit in the face.
Great courage, kicks and tenacity. The punches could be more refined, but it’s a lot more difficult to do this in a dangerous fight, compared to sparring. Major props, had anymore kickboxing fights? (Know you’ve got some TKD ones, but K1 or Muay Thai I mean).

we block most kicks. Its the ones that don't get blocked that I show in the video. Usually the blocks end up in the wrong place or the kick circumvents the block due to the agility of the foot. Sometimes, the foot goes through the block.

I started at 9. I'm 28 now. 23 is a perfect age to start and be a world champion. You just need a good teacher, which is very hard to find.
