Enhypen's Heeseung: From 1 to 23

Lee Heeseung (희승), hailing from Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, is a multifaceted talent known for his remarkable journey into the K-pop world. He grew up with an older brother, Lee Heedo, who is two years his senior. He graduated from Gwangnam High School, and his name holds special significance-chosen by his grandfather, "HEE" translates to "Emperor," and "SEUNG" means "succeed," symbolizing his destined greatness. His Chinese name, Lǐ Xī Chéng (李羲承), carries the same meaning: "Succeed the Emperor." Heeseung, who also goes by his English name, Evan Lee, has the endearing nickname "Heedeung" among friends and fans. Known for his close bond with the members of TXT, with whom he trained at BigHit Entertainment, he was a highly sought-after trainee, being recruited by multiple companies before ultimately joining BigHit.
After training for over three years, he participated in the survival show I-LAND, where he showcased his vocal and performance skills, eventually finishing in 5th place with an impressive 1,137,323 votes. His talents were evident from his first performance of NCT U's "Boss," which left a lasting impression on his fellow trainees. Heeseung debuted as a member of ENHYPEN on November 30, 2020, marking the beginning of his rise in the K-pop industry. A man of many talents, Heeseung is not only known for his impeccable vocals, which include perfect pitch, but also his skills in songwriting and composition. He speaks English very well thanks to his early preparation for a foreign language high school.
