I think Capcom is missing out on a lot of money by not doing what Nintendo did with Mario. They have the assets, and the power, we need an official Mega Man creator.
That hack was amazing. The japanese creator TATSU made nearly perfect stages, designs and also latest aestethics (especially megaman 9 and 10) like the basic master and i am waiting for new hacks. 👍👏🙏
I recognized the music from Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, transformed Oedo castle, for the Dustman stage music! Awesome! I loved the music from Mystical Ninja games!
It's the checkpoint you respawn at if you lose. That's not just a "stylistic" choice as it's directly involved in the gameplay. I don't know what the proper term is, but it definitely isn't stylistic.
It used to be software limitations. Before being released on cartridge, Rockman was planned for the Famicom Disc System. But floppy disks aren't as fast as cartridge ; and during beta-tests, when the game was trying to load the boss, it was either laggy as hell, or the game crashed. So, they had to put a "active loading screen", in the form of a little corridor filled with enemies. And then, they kept it for tradition, style, tension, and because it's a good indicator for check-points.
The Megaman formula was always simple: 8 levels, 8 themes (usually including the 4 elements) and each theme has its specific design, enemies, music and boss. I feel like everything flawed in this version: the themes are unclear, the music is forgettable, the bosses all seem to do the same stuff, the level design was generic... I watched until the end and I can't remember a single level, song or boss battle. And that's bad. As for the TAS in itself, I mean, fuckyeah, it was great! :)
Eh it's not for everyone, I think it's a pretty fun time. I recommend playing it for yourself before knocking on it, you probably don't remember much because of how fast the TAS is. I agree that it's a not the greatest Mega Man game but for entirely different reasons.
Anarkitty? During the anarchist movement in the early 1990s, a black cat tag on a wall meant there was a sanctuary nearby. Not unlike the Railroad in Fallout 4.
I never cease to be amazed by the skill of the creators of such hacks.
18:49 the music sync is awesome.
Ang this? 22:25
One of the most impressive Mega Man Romhack video games along with Voyage and Minus Infinty!!!!!!!!!!!!
19:55 Well, that was unexpected.

Mega Maker is out there. I know you say official but as a tool Maker is not half bad
but its only half good too
They did it with megaman powered up and it was awesome and wanted to do it for megaman universe but they canceled it
Go get Megaman Powered Up on PSP
Mega Man Maker is a thing.
Pharomam's level theme is the palace theme from Zelda 2:Adventure of Link.
Awesome inclusion to say the least.
Truly Tatsu's magnum opus.
Mr x's second stage design is so beautiful 😍😍!!!!!!!
I can appreciate a romhack that appreciates the Super Dodge Ball soundtrack 🔥🏐👼
Awesome TAS
Chill Man's stage theme is Blizzard Wolfang from X6
And tomahawk man stage theme is axle the red from x5
Such a nice tas for such an impressive rom hack. It’s a shame that it skips past a lot of the really cool stuff in this game.
What an unique music! Especially the first level
A dragon quest boss being in the game was cool.
That music in the first level! Ape escape!!
Second level is Blizzard Wolffang from X6 and 4th level is battle music from Dragon Warrior 7
Volcanic rim from sfiv is a great boss theme
Pharaoh Man's stage music is from Adventure of Link
Second "Wily" level is from Sonic the Hedgehog.
Mr.X 3rd stage theme is Kirby super star metaknight final stages.
Breaking the laws of quantum mechanics. This is the real story of Mega Man and Dr. Light.

Zelda 2 dungeon music in this game, too? There's all kinds of surprises in this one! I wonder what else I'll recognize in this game?
デデドン!(実家)
似てるのかと思ってたら本当にデデドンで草
ボスに第二形態あるのすげえ
Love the music selection
13:24 Now I've got your power
(Pharaoh Man stands up and punch Mega Man)
I recognized the music from Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, transformed Oedo castle, for the Dustman stage music! Awesome! I loved the music from Mystical Ninja games!
Her: "What are you into?"
Me: Watching people abuse and humiliate video games.
I would be watching these when I'm bored.
ok thats awesome that chillman's level theme was the north pole area from megaman X6
Dude you're speedrunning so hard its breaking the rules of reality
You know this run is optimized when the first stage is half swag moves.
This is Robot Masters Mega Man 3 4 5 6 9 and 10
I've always wondered why the empty room before the boss. Is that a stylistic choice, or a software limitation?
Stylistic choice. Otherwise, why din't they put it before mid-bosses as well?

@@LicencetoMeme oh, so that's why the boss corridors on MM1 are longer than the other Megaman games?
@@luisjogos821 Yep.
Scrap Brain Zone Act 3 for Mr. X stage 2?
Yep.
Rockman 5 metropolis tas please
Street Fighter IV boss music, huh?
So _that's_ where it's from! Knew it sounded familiar, just couldn't place it.
If the player destroy the red block at 20:42, will it be faster?
Inugami Korone!?
When TAS of Vine Man?

don’t tell me you don’t know what ape escape is 🥲
Ok, I won't!

it’s probably the best megaman 6 hack, I would even put it next to megaman 4 minus infinity
Anarkitty? During the anarchist movement in the early 1990s, a black cat tag on a wall meant there was a sanctuary nearby. Not unlike the Railroad in Fallout 4.
ころさん!?
sonic 1
Wait... Zelda 2 music?
And labyrinth zone? I really need to check this thing out
