Yes, you can definitely because I know that some friends did get admitted into multiple programs with the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship. In such a case, you can choose which you want to study as per your preference.

You can go the Erasmus Mundus Catalogue as linked in the video description and go to the program of your interest and right below the name, you will find the link to the website- from there, you can directly apply for the scholarship in your interested program.

No, you only apply for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship which will be available as an online portal once the application is open for your program and you have to mention which universities you choose from the list in the application portal and your motivation letter. Accordingly, you don’t have to apply for the universities again. It is just one Erasmus Mundus Scholarship application per program that interests you. Hope this helped ♥️

Yes, you can apply for the master’s degree with your bachelor’s degree because as far as I know, they use your undergrad documents to assess your admission to scholarship and your MASTER is not considered at all. Do check the FAQ Section of your program in particular please because they have information regarding this.

I have two recommendation letters written given to me by my hod's office, but on them different professor names are not mentioned just issued by the hod and his name. But the content of both the letters is different. Can I still apply? Or is this going to create an issue?
Hello Jahnvi, if you mean you have two recommendation letters for the same program under the same name- it is an issue as two recommendation letters have to be provided by two different people. But if you’re talking about two different programs, its not an issue.
The content and the referees must be different simultaneously. Lmk if it answered your query.

I have mostly seen IELTS in the criteria part but you can confirm for your program by going to their criteria section.

Dear There, the GLOCAL PROGRAM EXPLICITLY has this sentence in their sites ‘For applicants whose first language is not English, the University sets a minimum English language proficiency level.’ So, I think you have to in case your first langauge is not English.
The best thing you can do is email the contact person (they respond really well).

Hello 👋 Nurilya, it’s nor Amish but Anisha here. The Erasmus Mundus usually has an online application portal so please go the program’s website but not the university’s website to look at the application process. It will be under a section related to application process itself.

Hello Sansrit 👋. Have you applied for the scholarship? If yes, then you’ll hear back from them around the date mentioned in the program’s website usually 2-3 months period and yes, the scholarship holders will be mailed on the same date. You’ll be told about your position if you’re close to the selected list as those in the waiting list would be further contacted when someone previously selected do not accept the scholarship offer.

Many programs ended for 2024, how do we get to know of any new programs ?
You can have a look at the catalogue and see if the programs you are interested in still have deadlines because it varies based on the programs. If they are gone already, then it will open at the same time next year 😊😊

2. Once you register for applying, you’ll be directed to the application portal. Hence, you will have to submit all your documents by uploading them online.

Hi there. This scholarship is particularly given for programmes in European universities and some outside Europe. But generally, it doesn’t include universities in Australia and USA.

Hello Tooni 👋 They will mainly consider your bachelors documents for admission into this Erasmus Scholarship and there is nothing wrong with mentioning your master’s programme. But, I do recommend you to get the recommendation letters from your undergraduate university as it would be more relevant for case :)

What is you have a qualification from an English speaking country such as UK/USA, do you still need a language proficiency certificate?
Good question. Usually the program mentions what they qualify for as an exemption for the language proficiency. Sometimes it is written those who are from these countries and other times it says who have earned qualifications from these countries do not need to submit the language proficiency certificate- there’s a difference in these two as well right? But, mostly the answer to your question is no in that case, you don’t need. However, to be 💯confident, please look at the requirements for your program and if still

Hello ma’am, you might be able to know his rank in the waiting list or if not, please try asking. If it’s short, you might want to wait or else, you can go with the self funded option if you have the financial resources to do so. Usually students wait and if it doesn’t work, they apply for the next year as some of the universities might be pretty expensive given the fact that they are all the best universities providing the specific programme. I must mention that your profile looks really good. Yes, the study gap might impact the application in a way if they state that the gap shouldn’t be more than 5 years, which I believe that they do for some programs. However, please look at the program’s application requirement section or the FAQ:- where they might have answered this question. If not, simply email the coordinator university with your questions, and they will reply you as soon as possible,
For IELTS, it depends if your selected programs would be okay with an English proficiency certificate or not. If not, you must have to get the IELTS done if they mention!

Yes, you have to apply the same amount of times as the programs you want to be a part of. I mean if you’ve selected 2 programs then you have to apply two times likewise.
When I go to the particular programme and apply do I have to apply again elsewhere? There was a bit about having joint applications
It’s usually done using the application portal. When you go the programme, you will see an application section which usually directs you to the online application portal. Is it not stated that way? Let me know the name of the program, and I shall have a look for you.

The online application, when applied through the Erasmus Mundus Program’s website, will directly be an application for the Program under the scholarship. When the results will be published, the applicants are told whether they have received the admission with scholarship or without or have not been accepted for the admission. Hello Faisal! No, you don’t have to admit in university. For the Erasmus Scholarship, when you’re applying you’ve to choose the universities from provided list and when you’re accepted into the scholarship, you get admitted to the selected universities automatically. I hope this helps 👍

I applied for one of the joint masters scholarship program at a host university under Erasmus Mundus and have also received a conditional offer letter . My program of interest is CHILDREN’S LITERATURE, MEDIA & CULTURAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP (Intm)
. The issue is that they want me to submit my final transcript and degree by Jan to avail this scholarship under my program, even tho the course will begin from mid sept 2024. As you know, graduation in India is usually acquired around May-June and I am yet to clear my grad 😢. I tried contacting the uni and they said that nothing can be done. Can you please suggest anything here ? I'll be grateful!
Hi Vasant, I’m happy to know that you made it and hope you get the opportunity to study in your field of interest. Did you contact the coordinator of the program or the university in general? As they have said nothing can be done, it’s likely they will not be able to be of much help. However, one thing I suggest would be to contact the coordinator via email again, and mention your motivation, and also if they could consider the mark sheet from your university (until the sem/year you’d have completed by January) as a proof and you’ll provide the final transcript and degree once you’ve graduated.
I know that it sounds a bit too ambitious as there is still 4-5 months after the provided deadline for you to finish your degree. Is there any chance that you could complete your degree earlier by talking to your university professors? If that can be done, maybe they’d be considering your entrance with an informal transcript and degree.
Nonetheless, please tell them your motivation and how much you want to be a part of the program, and that you’ll make 100% sure to submit it before the program starts in September 2024.

Hello AswathyNair, no with the Erasmus Scholarship, you don’t need to deposit any money at the university or the bank. It covers your tuition fees and provides you with monthly allowance as well.

There used to be a certain amount given as an additional cost, but now it has been included in the scholarship itself, the amount has been increased from € 1,000 to € 1,400. So, you have to bear it when you come here but once you have a bank account, you’ll get the monthly amount transferred to you. Hope this information clarified your confusion.

Yes, you have to apply to the respective programs but don’t need a separate application for the scholarship as all programs in the Erasmus Mundus Catalogue will have scholarship (unless mentioned otherwise in a few cases where they only take self-funded students). E.g, you find 2 programs you like of the Erasmus Mundus scholarship, then you apply for the two programs separately from the provided websites. This automatically implies that you’re applying for the scholarship. Hope this helps 🧡

Is it mandatory to work after the completion of course in Europe
If you mean that Do you have to go back to your country after the completion of your studies in Europe? Then the answer is NO for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, but DAAD usually require you to go back for a few years to work in your country. It’s always better to see for your program’s criteria again though 😊

@@user-jv3ge5vs9x As mentioned, “you have to provide a justification of it from your supervisor”, I would suggest you prepare a document mentioning that you received …… grade or are in the top ……. of your batch whatever is convenient to show that you meet the requirement that the program has given, with the help of your supervisor or professor or campus chief. It simply would mean that you are eligible to apply in terms of your education grade ranking :)

There mostly would be 2 recommendation letters that you need to upload so as far as possible, have one requested from your university’s Professor or supervisor and the other from your work place.

Can we apply this scholarship to Switzerland??
Do you mean from Switzerland as a citizen? In that case, you’ve to apply as the EU/Swiss (which is usually mentioned in the programme) and submit the application accordingly.
If you mean while being based in Switzerland as a non-EU citizen, you can surely apply for the scholarship but there most likely would be some clause telling that you must have had stayed in your country of origin for 5 or something years for the least eligibility thing.
If you mean to study in Switzerland then you’ve to find your programme of interest that offers program in Switzerland.

There are usually two recommendations asked for so I suggest you to make each from each of them- academic + work related references I mean.

Nevertheless, Erasmus Mundus usually upgrades new period of scholarship programs every time they end an announced period, so you will definitely have some other programs coming in your field.
