There's rumors of another Dissidia game coming out sometime next year in 2025. Probably will be strictly PS5 and released on other devices/consoles as time goes on
@@zapperil from what I've heard it'll be going back to the single based story with open world. It's the same people who worked on PGR if you're familiar with that at all. Going back to the 1v1/3v3 format and something about it having PVP along with raid events. Of course this is just rumors, but I'd be surprised if there wasn't a new Dissidia game releasing in the future next year. Way too many hints to make me believe it'll happen
After the failure that was Dissidia NT, I would love a PS5 Upgraded version of Dissidia duodecim because that game had the best combat of the games imo

Genuinely going to miss this game, been a player since the very beginning of Global, still remember Squall being the very first Character Event and how Gaia Behemoth used to be considered a hard boss. I remember when we, as the player base, freaked out when Seymour was made the first villain playable character, because at that point we weren't sure villains were even going to be playable. I remember when Noctis being added to the game was a big deal, because FFXV has only literally just come out, and no one knew anything about him or what he could do yet. I remember when you could get a special extra bonus Buster Blade NT if you used a code that came bundled with the PS4 Dissidia NT game! It's sad because now that I've finished the final Dare to Defy, I just don't have much reason to log in any longer. I'm not going to do the HP Sponge Cactaur fights, and the Co-op feels empty because its just a grind for resources that won't matter when the came shuts down. We all knew the end was coming, but it feels like we should have had a little more time ... we were all prepared for a Global/JP merger when he hear that, instead, the game has reached its End of Service. For all the problems DFFOO had by the end, I still enjoyed logging in and clearing the events, it'll be missed! Also, it was sweet that the final cutscene had the game end the same way the original PSP Dissidia ended; everyone gets sent back to their own worlds, and the Warrior of Light finds himself standing outside of Cornelia, recalling the adventures he's shared with the strange warriors he met, before walking towards the castle to start the final cycle of FFI. THEIR ADVENTURES CONTINUE
Thank you Dissidia opera Omnia. I will always love this game and now it’s coming to a close I hope that it returns on the Switch or sometime in the future.
That final boss fight was epic. Too bad it has come to an end. This game has so much potential, but it is what it is. So long DFFOO. It’s been a great journey and a pleasure to get to experience all the final fantasy characters in one package. Hope they change their minds about making it offline. Fair well!!! 🎉
I decided to check what this final boss was like. I'm disappointed in Square Enix that they didn't let us GL players experience this, instead we got a copy and paste of old battles. It doesn't feel like our adventure was complete even if they did release the cutscenes.
Man truly is a shame that it’ll be gone but in the end at least we made the most out of the game. Here’s to a new journey at whatever it takes us ya know

Because Dissidia at base is basically fighting game mixed with RPG

I would prefer the Onmia Opera battle style. It was perfect.
