There was really good boxer with a similar style, can’t remember if it was naseem but anyways he boxed for a couple years then his father made him take dance classes for 2 years and when he came back his footwork was phenomenal and he could slip punches effortlessly.

It an amazing style to watch but it fades fast. His reaction time is going to get slower and if he doesn’t change it up he’ll have to retire or have some sad fights late in his career.
He's still young and fresh. You are right if he gets into his mid 30s doing the same thing he may get shocked.
Reaction time isn't as important if you have great head movement and understand your opponent

It’s not hard to pick up a boxer, especially if they don’t expect it. Some boxers fight completely upright. Even Ali who has an elusive style is kinda hunched over a bit.

Tyson always said he based his style on the prince's cos he looked up to him growing up.
Naseem was good and im a fan but a big reason he could fight that way was to do with his limited opposition. I never liked it when he would ridicule people despite the fact that most were awful journey men or over the hill and there was no need fo be smug. He had lots of talent but he had no plan B fighting style to rely on thats why he lost.
