It says the amztoy cat box device only works on a 2.4g network but I have a 6.4g network with Spectrum and it is impossible to split it into a 2.4g network. Hi there! The amztoy self-cleaning cat litter box indeed requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for its connectivity features. Unfortunately, it won't be able to connect to a 6.4GHz network provided by Spectrum, as these devices are typically designed to support only the 2.4GHz frequency band.
However, many routers have the capability to support both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. If your current router combines these bands into one, you might be able to separate them into distinct networks through your router settings. This would allow your litter box to connect to the 2.4GHz network.
If separating the networks isn't an option with your router, you could consider getting a dual-band router that handles both frequencies separately or even adding a secondary 2.4GHz router specifically for devices that require this band.

I use number two. It took a while for my cat to get used to it. A friend's cat started using it on the first day. Is there anyone else having problems with the cat getting used to it?
It was our previous litter box. We used it for more than a year for our two big cats. They started using it the day it arrived. Sometimes our little friends can be timid.
