The writers are portraying women in India in a bad light.. Why should women be plotting against their fellow women over men and the chicken hearted men will be proud of it. See Tanu in twist of fate, malishka in bagya lakshmi n a host of others. Why won't men for once fight over women? Same with the powers given to mothers in law to turn their sons into puppets. Too bad indeed and demeaning to their culture. Terrible.
