    Mine was working fine but now when I slice the model it shows it in the center of build plate, where I want it. When it prints it start with center in bottom left corner. If I reslice it after moving model to top right corner it prints it about half way between center and and bottom left corner. I know it is the slicer as it prints the same way on all my printers

    For those wondering where Callum and the team have been, all of the members of the CIR team are high school seniors and college applications and scholarships have been a grind. That’s soon coming to a close though with application deadlines rapidly approaching, and soon the entire team will be back in the loop with new videos. Thank you for your patience and look out for future videos!

    I’m a noob so forgive me, but how do I scale my model so it is the exact dimensions of my 3d model I built in Siemens NX? It automatically sized it to %10000. When I size it to %100 it is way to small and definitely not the dimensions of the model. I appreciate any help. I’m literally doing this for the first time tonight. Thanks again.

    Hi, thx for the info. I watched mainly because I have a beginner issue with where my first print is don't. Yes, I want it to be centered,
    yet my printer is trying to print it in the lower left corner... Yeah, and at the furthest point.
    I have an ender5 plus and when the nozzle is centered its X180, Y 180 and well Z 12.2. So where does one enter this info into Cura
    and does the saved file tell the printer this?
    I would have thought that the printer would know where to print at the center of the bed, yet I really am a noob!
    Can I ask this of you? Many thx ✌️

    I do the same thing on my Cura but something isn't working for me. When I print something the printer automatically starts printing something on the corner of the printer bed and the shape is very erratic and the filament does not stick which causes the print to fail and dislodge from the printer bed at a very early stage . Does anyone else have this problem? can anyone help with what I am experiencing?

    I have a question regarding layer height. I am very new to printing.......You mentioned that if you change the layer height you would have to relevel the bed. Could you just adjust your Z offset to compensate for the difference in layer height? So if you're set up for Standard Quality and you want to go to Dynamic Quality you could lower the Z Offset by "X". Would this work?

    • @CallumPrints
      @CallumPrints  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I guess that would work. I dont know if I said this in my own vidoe but I'm still learning, so thanks for the question!

    • @CallumPrints

      Getting your prints to stick is tough, and it takes some time to perfect it. I would look up a bed leveling tutorial or, more practically, a plate adhesion tutorial, which I have on my channel.
