Being introverted myself, I completely understand Billy. The sheer joy and peace that comes when you find that one person that makes you so comfortable enough to go out of your comfort zone and do things you never thought of doing and surprising even yourself in the process is just heartwarming. Their bond is very deep and I love them more each passing day.
I love that Billy opened up about this and that he specified that he’s a private person, he just doesn’t do things like others, he has his own way of doing things and people around him respect that and the fact that he’s an introverted, but he felt so comfortable around Babe that the boy allowed Billy to explore another side he could have, one where he could be more open to people, one where he could be just relaxed and he just entered the room, started changing his clothes and realized Babe was there, he didn’t talk to Babe but to himself, acknowledging that they were too close already and it’s so beautiful that both did that naturally, that they grew closer with time. They did spend time together, they went out to eat, so they wanted to be closer to one another and there’s also understanding between them. Babe likes to eat with others and if Billy would say no because he’s tired, Babe would dwell on it while eating, but he wouldn’t make a fuss or get mad at Billy and the next day he would just invite Billy to eat again (he talked about that) and I love to know that he adapted like that to him and Billy has also adapted to the way Babe is, which is different to his own personality.
