I think the original magnetic one makes more sense -- for me -- but it's nice that they are constantly evolving and expanding what was possible. I have some of the screw in Freewheel's and they are superb...an incredible price for value.
I use the Polar Pro Peter McKinnon VND Signature Edition II 67mm 2-5 Stop Filter that I swap between the ZVE-10 and the FX-30 when needed, and despite the price I know I just need a second one so that I don't have to compensate so much when using BOTH cameras together. How do you think this K2 system would hold up against that? I do like the price/options.

I just added step-up rings to all my lenses (including my 2 c-mount CCTV lenses and even my GoPro cage) to make them all match my largest thread size (55mm) so now all my lenses can use the same filters and lens caps. Is Freewell going to come out with a smaller form factor for APS-C users?
Great video but for all users the MVND filter especially after some time becomes problematic as the magnet is not really strong and filter just falls off (happened to me already on 3 shoots, pointing down camera and it falls on its own or due to wind one time I could not even find it as I didnt notice it detaching). So just a warning for everyone with the previous version.
The new K2 System is too big for my taste:) I'm aiming the old version of Freewell magnetic VND but could you tell me if there is unwanted flares when you shooting against the sun with VNDs and mist filters? And does it fit 16mm without vignetting on the edges? Thanks!
you can for sure. I actually went online and bought a 55-82 step up ring for $10 so that I wouldn’t need multiple rings - that way I can avoid potential vignetting

not sure they’ll have a small version - but you can order the original magnetic 7-in-1 in smaller sizes.

Nicer Filters!! can you adapt say a 55mm lens using an additional step up adapter or is that asking for trouble?
