  • Another thrilling Chapter of the top 50 RH Sidecar races from the British Masters, and as we count down to race 21, we start with race 30, and it's back to a superb Masters run at Wainfleet, and we see a cracking battle between Trevor Colvin, John Halsey, Rod Winterburn, and Matt Fumarola, and what a race. On to number 29, and it's that great rivalry between Mark Cossar and Rod Winterburn that makes the top 30. Back at Swingfield in 2014 it all came down to the Final as to who would take the Masters title. You could feel the tension in the air as the tapes were about to go up on this fantastic battle. The next race was at one of the best British Masters there's ever been, and we go back to 1999 at Dalton Barracks for an unbelievable 2nd Semi-Final involving John Halsey, Kenny Hammill, Rod Winterburn, and Rob Wilson. Number 27 comes from Long Marston and features possibly the best race of the day in the Sidecar Final, with Steve Smith, Ivor Matthews, and Colin Blackbourn. Wainfleet always produces brilliant Sidecar racing, and so it proved in 2004, with some fantastic action in this titanic Semi-Final, where Myles Simmons, Gary Jackson, Ivor Matthews, and John Halsey all swapping positions through the race until drama happened.
The 2009 Masters Final slots into number 25, and what a brilliant Final it was, with 5 crews all handlebar to handlebar. After that excitement we go way back to 1993, and we're at The Action Track again for a race packed with action and drama. Ken Lane, John Halsey, and Russell Ing all getting involved. 23 comes from Northiam in 2005 and despite the track being a little rough, it's didn't stop the Sidecars from putting on some great racing, and none more so than John Halsey and Ivor Matthews.
What can i say about number 22 in the countdown? 2019 Masters at Dig Dog Lane, and after having mechanical problems early in the day, Mark Cossar frantically works to get out on his Speedway outfit, only to miss the start, but what he did next was just amazing. How this only made number 22 is beyond me. How good must the top 21 be? Number 21 comes from Wimborne and it's the 2013 Masters, which had plenty of controversy and lots of great action. This race featuring Rob Bradley, Mark Cossar, Steve Smith, and Paul Whitelam made you wonder where to look, with a terrific battle for 1st & 2nd, and for 3rd and 4th.
