    It's a bit unfortunate that you weren't able to clip in at the start. Nonetheless, a good effort. Thanks for sharing and good luck in the next race!

    Hi Matteo, I really appreciate your videos, especially the on-board race footage. I need some expert advice: I use Grifo Team S3 tubulars and 33mm Terreno Wet, and I weigh 70kg + 7.7kg for the bike. I often ride at 1.7bar and I'm wondering if this is too little or too much? I also noticed you have GRX DI2 levers on your Trek Boone. I currently have DI2 Ultegra (road) and I'm considering switching to GRX for the ergonomics. Do you have experience with both and could you provide feedback? I wish you a great season and many victories.

      thank you, your question is not so easy to answer. the pressure in your tubulars depends on the surface and indeed your weight. In your case I would experiment with 1.5 bar. I think 1.7 bar is a lot! Regarding the GRX: I am very satisfied with it, I used to ride with Ultegra but GRX fits so much better in your hand and is much more robust. Hopefully this answers your questions. kind regards, Matteo

      @@MatteoDeclercq Hello Matteo, I tested at 1.5bar front and rear with a Grifo S3 team 33mm. I must say I finished 2nd in the race. I really liked the grip, very predictable, but it bounces a bit. It's quite disconcerting when you feel that on a cornering acceleration, the rear tire "rolls on itself". I'm not sure if you understand what I mean? In any case, I watched your last race, always so inspiring. I've never tried the Chicane, I mostly ride on Grifo or Vittoria Wet. I admit that on sandy/dusty sections in corners, I don't have much confidence with the Grifo. Also, I'd like to get some advice to improve my handling. In corners, do you press down on the handlebar to give more grip to the front wheel, or not at all? And coming out of the corner, do you shift a bit to the back to get more grip on the rear wheel? Thanks in advance.

    Mooie video weer Matteo. Ik kan me nog herinneren dat jij een paar jaar geleden zei dat je het niet fijn vindt om op rollers op te warmen. Wat heeft jou laten besluiten nu toch op de rollers op te warmen?

    • @MatteoDeclercq
      @MatteoDeclercq  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Dankjewel, dat klopt : ondertussen heb ik een goed protocol gevonden wat me het best opwarmt en dat is het makkelijkst op rollen dus ja, heb mijn mening moeten herzien :-)
