It’s not the company that is restricting him to only sing in his deep voice. In actual fact stray kids have total control of their songs arrangements and choreography. Bang Chang, the leader, together with Changbin and Han are the main singer song writers and arrangers and when all are singing they utilise each individual’s uniqueness. What makes Felix stand out is his deep voice coming out of an angelic sweet person. But they are starting to include solos and ballads with fewer members in their newer albums to showcase all their abilities which are not apparent in their group songs. Felix wrote the melody, the lyrics and sang himself. They are unique because they are not a manufactured band like many other K-pop groups or in Fact like many western boy bands.
if you guys wanna hear more of his singing you should react to his duet with Changbin called "because", he doesn't use his higher register in this one but it's such a good song and you get to hear Changbin singing too
