3 months ago, I got lots of pain in the mid foot and over the sole of my left foot and I went to The Athlete's Foot where my feet got assessed with myfit 3D Scan and I was given "Asics Gel-Pulse 15 (2e Wide) Mens". Once I put it on, my foot pain instantly disappeared like a magic and I completely fell in love with this Gel pulse 15.

The heel counter is simply too stiff to use this shoes for fast walking, in case anyone is wondering if they are suitable for this activity. They are torture for my heel. :(

As someone who loves a slightly bouncier and responsive daily trainer, I have been disappointed in these. They are very light and comfy but I’m not a fan of the foam.
Hi I just brought pulse 15 and nimbus 26, which do you think I should use for long distance walking. And my aim is cover long distance without damaging my legs too much. Thanks
Thanks saw the link and also your ASICS road running chat, I can switch both shoes for recovery and long distance walking. Luckily I didn’t go towards the speed model for season runners👍
@@forgetmyname5166hi, I’d like to ask your thoughts about these two models. I had gel pulse 13, they have been serving me well for 3 years. Now I choose between nimbus 26 and gel pulse 15 for long(8km) slowly(5:30/km) running. What do you recommend to get according to your experience of using?
I don’t have pulse 13, but if you have time to research, pulse 15 improve a lot from its old model, I heard good things about nimbus 25, 26 is not that good compare to nimbus 25, I wound advise you to get nimbus 25 or gel pulse 15, nimbus for more cushion or pulse for lighter weight.
@@Andrii_ShvedI started running after taking a long break, brought 3 shoes at 1 go, but if I were given a choice I would buy just 1 shoes and that is the more expensive and hype up ASICS Superblast. (Just stay with cushion shoes to prevent injury)
hi, nice video, thanks. Do you consider this shoe to use for easy runs and recovery runs? I am looking for a mid stack shoe for easy miles and recovery beacuse my (narrow) feet (toes) get numb running in high stack cushioned shoes. Or would you advise something else? I prefer a snug feel shoe with a grippy outsole due to weather conditions in autumn and winter time.
@@RUNFAQthanks, i checked the video; to answer that; that would be 4+ hrs, below 80 kg and neutral. I consider myself a bit of an experienced runner. So i gues that would be the bounce and swing section? Any particular shoes you would advice in that usecase?
Hi, great video! Would you recommend this one or the GT 2000 12? New runner, practicing for a physical test that includes running, like running 2,4km in less than 10min.
@@RUNFAQ I just bought both (gel 15 and 2000 12), how do I use them together? Knowing that I used to run between 9 and 13 km, but now I have knee and leg pain and I run between 5 and 8 km. Thank you
Or Go with Gel Nimbus 25/26, NB 1080V13, Brooks Glycerin 21 or Hoka Clifton. These are all comfortable cushioned shoes and should serve better for long standing days.
А какая реальная цена у новабластов 3-х? Сейчас их найти уже большая проблема (женские размеры, как обычно заметно дешевле), а пульс 15, что у меня в городе, что в интернете стоят 100 евро, что сложно назвать бюджетными кроссами.
How is Gel Pulse 15 for Obese people who have plantar fascitis and need to do 8K-10K steps "Indoors" ? I was looking between Gel Pulse 15 vs Gel Cumulus 26 vs GT 2000 12
I've not tried the Pulse 15 but I've just sent back the Cumulus 26 because the new collar padding is hard and uncomfortable round my ankles. I'm going to try the Pulse 15, I think.
Go try them on in a shop, only way to be sure. Individual anatomy, gait, use case and preferences are a big deal. My assessment as a fellow obese guy based on having tried them on in shops yesterday: Nimbus 26 > Cumulus 26 > Pulse 15 > GT 2000 12. Pulse 15 has nice soft cushioning but at my weight I'd need even more of it to feel comfortable jogging or running. For just walking around in, I thought the Pulses were great for the price, but for running or jogging I'd definitely pay up for the thicker softer bouncier Nimbus. I recommend giving deficit single leg heel raises a shot for the plantar fasciitis, besides new shoes it's the one thing I've noticed to definitely help. I do as many reps as I can on my weaker leg and then match the reps on the stronger one, one set per day.

Так а в чем проблема? Разве задник мешает?
The “back” is too high and doesn’t have a “v shape”, so the heel is ‘compressed’ at every step.

Yes I had the sane problem with my Cumulus 24, had to wear a plastic bag cut off to negate the rub on my achilies

Torn between these and novablast 4? Recommendation?
Have never run with #Asics.
They are simple but seem to be truly comfortable. Beautiful!
Are they true-to-size, do you think?
