- Hello friends, this is 1S,2S and 3S lithium battery charger using TP-4056 module. You need three number of mobile charger to charge battery. Each charger will charge single battery of battery pack.

Anyway, the author did mention in the description to use separate phone chargers for each of the TP4056 units. Using separate phone chargers are isolated the TP4056 boards from each other (each gets their own isolated ground place).
As long as no one decided to combine into a single or non isolated power supply for all three TP4056, it should work
You can use a single source, as long as it is 5v and has 4 or 5 amper, so you will be able to deliver the ideal current for the tp4056. 🤷🏻
@@BeWolf.It's not current u need here, isolated supply. So that one module negative will not short to other module negative. If u use single supply, all negative will short to positive. Check the circuit properly.

Simple Build just 1 TP4056 for each Battery connected in series, Both 18650 and TP4056 are in parallel, While the 3 sets are in series. Downside of it is to use Three 5v Cellphone charger.

it will short the ground. because the minus of battery one is connect to the positive of the second one. If you plug charging cable of module 4056 from the same port (common ground) it will blow up.

Anyway by applying 4.2x battery count voltage to serially connected batteries charges them all. But it still need circuit to track charged ones . And it seems multi battery chargers use some kind of resistor to discharge chatged one ie puts some resistor to plus and negative of charged batterys plus and minus ie using zener diode therefore itll stop charging while itll flow electricity to oher discharged ones. But im not sure how they handle excess woltage which this procedure might cause ;p

This experiment need explanation, tp4056 module doesn't meant to be use for series charging because its share common ground between the b minus and the gnd terminal, if done with this configuration its better using a transformer with 3 different output so it doesn't short the tp4056, i once burn a circuit using 3 series tp4056
It must get it's isolation from step down transformers in the 5 volt power supplies otherwise yes it will short out.

Basically all I want is a balance charger that can charge 24 batteries. Can I just use a 12s BMS with balance? The batteries would be arranged in 4 pack sections.

You can add 5V isolated dc-dc converter but may have to drop the charge current below 1A

@@akbarquadir8719 for 2S mean 4,2V x 2 = 8,4 V . At least 2 x 5 V power supply is necessary. And if you look at the circuit for one battery first tp4056's negative is connected to 2S negative, second tp 4056' positive is connected 2S positive and two tp4056's bat - and bat + connection point is connected 2S battery pack two battery + - connection. Thats why two power supply are necessary.

But if you want to charge 3cells simultaneously, you have to use 3 charger. Not 1.

@@atyacharigamer9784 No you cannot use that setup. The whole point of using 3 different chargers is to achieve isolation of ground.

Suggestion: don't get glue on the IC or connector because it can cause the module to function not optimally or inaccurately calibrate the battery

Just foolish idea....My circuit did short circuit...
You must use an independent power suply for each module like he did in the video.
If you connect them all together to use 1 powersuply then it will short out
