Then I see how they approve a new law that prevents doctors from helping women at hospitals if their pregnancies are a threat to their life - one woman already died because of it last month, another one is on her way to die and I see Christians celebrating that all over the social media. There were sane people (mostly women) protesting and a counter protest was "men fighting for virgin Mary" with men marching with a picture of their imaginary woman anime protagonist bs and shouting that they're going to "protect her at any cost" completely blind that they're telling actual real women standing in front of them to die. And what's especially gross is that the picture they praise looks like a beautiful white Hollywood actress - when you look at it from a third person perspective, it clearly looks like they fap to that virgin Mary. And all I see in this video is a opposite-sex version of that - Christian women comment 'I love Jesus!' only if the Jesus on the picture is attractive. That makes me sick to my stomach and it's very hard for me to give any respect to Christians. And I don't believe in 'good Christian' and 'bad Christian' narrative - it's a faux, I have never seen a Christian protecting people from other Christians, you're either one of them and you're an evil person or not.
@@LovelyAngel. we have the same situation here in the middle East, although it's much much more engraved and internalised than the people themselves could realise, women here are denied many freedoms and no one seems to see it as prejudice, but its deemed "normal", and any woman who decides to speak up is considered to be a whore that belongs in hell, it's truly saddening and frustrating to me as an activist, and I won't say its because of religion but the people surely make it seem like it.
