I know I'm late, but here's your answer: I'd say definitely go for dragons, don't gamble on pack unless there's nothing worth going for that you're guaranteed to get with seasonal currency. Yet, not all dragons are equal and some are garbage and some are gold mines: check which ones are the best collectors and go for them, ignoring the worse ones. I'd not consider anything below 18k fish/wood for at least 14 hours at level 180. Don't mind iron yet, you'll eventually get there. Season packs are good for resources but generally bad for dragons (i only get dragons around 5% of the times and they're not even always good), so if you're new go for the good dragons
