How refreshing to hear a film being panned on this channel. I wonder though if you'll pursue some of the other gialli from the classic era, from 1968-1974 or so?
Your assumptions about this film beforehand were exactly the same as mine. I had thought it would be like Wes Craven making Scream as a tribute to Slasher Horror, but as a tribute to the Giallo film here. Why else get Argento to make it at all?

I have the same Blu-ray. I guess it’s a fair presentation, considering the quality of the main feature. Dario Argento is one of a handful of truly international filmmakers whose cinema transcends cultural and language barriers. His Giallo is a tough one to defend, though. Adrien Brody is a formidable actor who was still riding high at the time this film was made. Yet he’s directed terribly in Giallo. The dialogue and delivery in the first scene where Brody encounters Emmanuelle Seigner is cringeworthy, and things don’t really improve as the film progresses. I suppose the fact that Argento was pretty much just a hired gun on this project, without much creative input into the story goes some way towards explaining the underwhelming results.

I know this is an old video, but I was wondering if you could tell me if this Blu-ray is Region B or Region Free and if it has English audio or not?
It's a Region B disc I think. It is the Danish blu ray release. It has English audio.
But I still wonder if its a giallo film
