Subjectively speaking, by the looks of it, riding the horse in certain speeds seem unnatural. Like at slower trotting speeds the horse look like its doing a moonwalk. Im sure this is due to the devs allowing finer controls of moving the horse. Roach from Witcher 3 has an apparent abrupt transition in between riding speeds but animation looks better.
Yep, at some points you can say it's a bit unnatural. I agree with you But I think that it was a difficult part in the development. Seems harder to animate this than to emulate a car fisics, for example. But it's just my opinion :D
