Six times in the New Testament living the Christian life is compared to “running a race”. The starting line is when we trust Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. The finish line is when we die and go to Heaven or when Christ returns to take us Home, whichever happens first. The time in between the start and the finish is the race we are to run as Believers in Jesus. In Acts 20, Paul teaches us by his example three important aspects of running the race: HUMILITY, ENDURANCE, and ABANDONMENT. Follow along as Pastor Gary shares about “running the race.”

It’s sad that we can’t just enjoy the rainbow colors anymore.
Thank you Gary, revelations come early and easy, but the Discerning of the spirit is the key to knowing and understanding, and it takes time. It compels intimacy to continually seek understanding because it will unfold, and sometimes, you may have to just hold on until that peace is given. One thing I have learned is that revelations keep unfolding, and you just have to keep abreast. However, your will for God will help you hear distinctively. Your discernment can not be sharp and effective more than your passion and surrender and obedience to Christ.
Gary makes it much easier to follow our Lord.

The concept of running and getting the prize is confusing to me. I thought salvation is a free gift lest any man should boast! How do I fuse these two concepts together?
The prize is referring to a heavenly prize not salvation.

The 2 Witnesses have not appeared in Jerusalem. The Abomination of desolation has not appeared in Jerusalem and killed the 2 Witnesses.
Rev.11:1-7 ; 13:1-10
The 7 years for Israel have not yet arrive, and half of it is for the ministry of the 2 Witnesses, and the other half is for the Abomination of desolation.
When will it arrive? Matt.24:14 cp Rom.11:15, 25-26
When the last Gentile people have been reached, the countdown of the 7 years will begin for the Jews.
That day is drawing nearer and nearer.
@@ngdavid3925 you are right! The two witnesses haven’t came! They will come at the start of tribulation! Have you ever thought about, what happened to all those who already died and didn’t hear about sinners prayer! What about those people! God as a way fir all to hear God’s word and it may not be the way you think. I was praying to God before I knew God as a child. Never went to church and parents didn’t know God! Yet I still prayed to the father as a child in my bed at night! Don’t put God in a box!

HE has commanded all men to repent. Act.17:30
'Deep calls unto the deep' is the FATHER drawing the souls to HIMSELF. Ps.40:7 cp Jn.6:44
I do not limit GOD's ways in saving souls, but HE has ordained a standard method to save souls through the foolishness of preaching. 1Cor.1:16-24
Why not stick to Bible stories?
Typical! Do you people not know where we are at in today's word? If you do just why are you not preparing instead of discussing running a race? The race is nearing the end and every lesson should be a dire warning of preparation! Oh yeah, that's scary talk, you'll just wait for the thief to come!
Acts 1:7 "He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority."
@@EquinsuOcha-zr4pj That's referring to the Day of the Lord, and Christ doesn't know the time of His return! And
God's number is 7 and man's number is 6. Maybe the reason the Gay rainbow flag only has 6 colors when God's rainbow has 7 colors isn't because the Gay crowd couldn't rip off God's flag correctly but simply God not allowing them to. Pride is the root of sin and God will not allow a sinful Pride Flag to share status with His rainbow. At least that's my opinion!
