I don’t know how people do this. They make it look so fun and easy and simple decorating a house for Christmas is a giant pain. Nobody sees the lugging out of the boxes going through the boxes the trash all over the house to figure out what’s gonna work where the putting all the boxes back the stuff everywhere it’s ridiculous. You people don’t show real life. You show like fragments of pretty little clips Decorating a house does not look like that. It never has and it never will. I have box after box after box after box after box after box after box thrown all over the house crap everywhere boxing it all back up, putting it all back when they’re empty, and all the ornaments are on the tree and the glitter is everywhere and the candles and pinecones and dishes and ornaments and bubbles and garlands are thrown everywhere. Why do you people just show the easy part reality doesn’t look like this it never has not in a normal house. Nobody comes up behind you and cleans up after you, I don’t get it. Why do you people show this crap when none of it’s real

The boxes, the mess that seems to multiply everywhere-it’s all part of the process, and it’s not always fun or magical. When I created this video, I try to focus on the joy of the end result, but you’re absolutely right: real life is messy, chaotic, and exhausting, especially around the holidays. I don’t ever want to make it seem like it’s all effortless, because it’s not. You’re not alone in feeling this way-many of us are right there with you, box after box, ornament after ornament, just trying to make things feel special. My intention was not to offend but just to inspire. This video is just some quick ideas, not the full process. I hope you can understand that. Thank you for reminding me to share more of the ‘real.’ I hope you’re able to take a breath and find moments of peace amid the chaos-you deserve it.
