One of the best tutorials I've watched so far...great instructions that someone can follow if they are not very experienced in using Canva. Thank you so much.
I enjoyed the process, just to learn a different technique. Brain food. Understanding also that this is two years old. The crop tool in Silhouette, which is free software, would do this for you in about half the steps or less. No remove background required. No saving images and reloading. But I love canva. They work together well.
For anyone having a issue with the drip not changing colors when removing background... When you are putting the drip on to the abstract shape make sure some of the white of the drip touches the white of the background and then download the image it should work then
O, dear people, thank you for learning on the Trick with Dripping ...so much , personally Latoya, for this vital clarification it made all difference in the world, as in the tutorial it was, unfortunately, not noted...
When I remove the background, the color (white) of the "drip" did not change (to yellow). It remains totally white, not yellow + a little white as you do in the video. How can I fix it? Please help me.
FANTASTIC!! Thank YOUUUUU so much for sharing. Great tutorial. New subscriber here. Could you share the color code for the yellow background you're using?
Jezus !! This is tedious but one of the best Canva tuts I've seen so far. Could've done this in a few minutes with Affinity or Adobe. Thank you for this tutorial!
Great tut! But I agree with you Mary... If you're willing to go through so many steps to get this effect in canva, you might as well learn the basics of photoshop, and achieve this effect much quicker with masking.
This video could have been 5mins long. At the least 10min. But that was great nonetheless so thank you for taking the time to show us this tutorial. Very helpful!
It's not working now, I think that Canva just change Background remover, so they just remove the background, and leave the white inside the brown shape
I'm having issues with the image. From the beginning. The drip effect colour refuses to go with the background after using the background remover. I used remove.bg and still had the same issue. Going forward to do the rest became a chore.kindly help. Please🙏
Thank you Nino for this graet tutorial. You have done a relay big work to do such a tutorial. I am sorry that I haven't find the beautiful picture of the sport shoes with the hand. Every thing that I have done with another picture doesn't seems like yours. thank's Miri

To white the drip image, instead of using the brightness and contrast, use duotone, then choose white.
