The ironic thing is this track, nor any of the others on the 39 song 3-disc set, have actual titles. Someone took the liberty of naming them when they were put on TH-cam. Mr. Starks, who is a friend of mine, did not authorize it, though I think at this point he doesn't really care, since the songs were composed so long ago. Trammell is a brilliant composer and currently works with many other artists. But these tracks live on and are some of my favorite music. :) I do have to say, the name "Winter Tundra" fits this piece of music very nicely.
I found this trying to find the one's I remember, It's so hard and obscure not even sure of the year that would narrow it down because there's a lot to go through.
'Today: Sunny, cold. High 0. Winds west northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour... Tonight: Light snow. Low -20. Winds northwest at 15 to 20 miles per hour. About 2 to 3 inches of snow expected.'
Alongside this essentially being a track that would likely be used in a Snow or Ice~themed level or zone of a video game, predominantly in a Platformer, RPG, or mixture of both, the release year of "Winter Tundra" being I996 (according to The Internet Archive) effectively makes this one of the earliest Trap Beats that this current era of rappers (20II to 20I8) have been using, amazing how this branch of the Rap genre got around even back then. Trammell astoundingly finds a way to make "Winter Tundra" a Trap Beat Done Right, utilizing the Rapid Fire Hi~Hats to his advantage by drowning out its sound so it's not a nuisance to listeners of Current Era Trap who despise its Earworm of a feel, and the lack of singing or rapping makes for the complete omission of the "Higga~Bajigga~Bazigga~Bazagga" vocal template that is used by Future, Migos, and the rest, making it ever more enjoyable to listen to in retrospect; honestly, I do feel that "Winter Tundra" does deserve a Modernization Remix EP, as it would fit in with this current generation of Trap that truly needs far better tracks than what we have gotten, wishfully any composers who read this will probably take it into consideration and make something of it, not many tracks on The Weather Channel get any notable remixes and this one would get some attention in our Present Day climate (no pun intended, given the song title).
I don't know about you guys, but if I listen to this song and think of its name and a cold place at the same time, I get sort of a chilly feel. Sounds strange doesn't it?
Today Scattered strong thunderstorms. Storms may produce large hail and strong winds. High 91. Winds SW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 40%. Tonight Scattered thunderstorms during the evening. Mainly clear skies after midnight. A few storms may be severe. Low 72. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50%. Friday A mix of clouds and sun with the chance of an isolated thunderstorm in the afternoon. High 89. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30%.

Wait, so the Weather Channel didn't name these tracks?
Of course not. What were you expecting?
They did not. Trammell didn't even give the songs official names. They ordered music tracks. He provided them.
Wow that's great good day
Btw, mind your own business

Finally. Was looking for this particular melody. I remember this as a kid one year. Off and on it would randomly come up in my head. LOL.

This song calms my anxiety.
Me too 🎉
